  • I just ordered 2 weather stations for delivery - thought may keep them for next Christmas. Within seconds of completing the order comet have just phoned to say they are out of stock.

    I ordered another as a gift idea (got one myself in store for £4.99 last week), missed the call from them on my mobile as I'm at work (cough cough), the message states it's out of stock at the moment, but still on order from IT Works, but they don't know when delivery is due... will call them back when the boss isn't lurking to find out more ;)

    Am I correct in saying the units probe is connected by a length of wire?!

    Doesnt sound too great to me.

    No you are not. The remote sensor is connected via radio.

    I ordered 15 of these this morning, Comet just called to say that they are out of stock but they can fulfil the order when more stock come in, it is apparently an 'active line', so I told them to deliver as and when stock comes in.
