does this have a wirless sensor for outside temp, whwt batteries does the sensor take. Or is it a wire for outside

Looks good. I've reserved one but I'm also interested to know if it's wireless or not. Pretty useless if not.

Looks like it is, It shows CH2 on the display (Channel 2) and has 433Mhz on the top of the unit (The radio Frequency) So it should not be prone to interference from house phones etc.

I got an older one by the same company*, now 6 years old and freakily enough I changed the batts on the outdoor sensor not 3 hours ago!

Buy it! - I think I might upgrade!

*Edit - I lied mine is Oregan Sceinetific, but similar in features - sorry.

I suspect this Weather Station probably works indoors indoors which means even @4.99 it's pants. If so, then this one's probably a better deal..
