Boots were selling them (in a silver finish) under their own brand name at Xmas as they were £7.50 in their 75% off sale last month :rotfl: Not sure if they would still stock them but if they do the price will probably be a monstrous £30
PS Ours has caused us not one bit of trouble, worked flawlessly so far (that's the kiss of death if ever I've seen it!)
Edit: Found it! Not as bad as I thought, it's £20!

Can anyone with the Currys IT Works Weather Station help?
I've just changed the batteries in the outdoor sender (they've been low for at least 6 months!) - they've lasted well! However even though it seems to be working and the channel is correct the main unit isn't picking it up. Can anyone tell me how to tune it in or whatever it needs? I do have a manual but its a case of not knowing where the box is...0 -

Try removing the battery cover from the outdoor sender unit and pressing the TX button (bottom right). The main display unit should bleep if it receives the the temperature signal. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
Thanks tried that without success. Just managed to find the box too so I'll probably end up spending all weekend trying to fix it ....0

If you have only replaced the batteries in the outdoor unit, and you have inserted them correctly, the main unit should receive the signal without doing anything to the main unit. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0
