Just got an email from Next to say one of my items is on the way already! It is only 1 item of about 50. I'm sure my courier is going to love me if it comes in dribs and drabs like that!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947
DFD:Nov 22/June 22
Mortgage: €199,712
MFD: March 2042/July 20340 -
I've had an email about items sent out too.
For the lady up there who's been billed - I was during the Christmas sale for everything I'd ordered before any had been sent out. They lost one parcel but all the items stayed on the bill. I rang them and complained and they apologised and said I wouldn't be charged interest until after I'd received the goods and was happy with them. The same happened last month - my bill was in and two days later they added some shoes that hadn't even arrived. I've found them to be good if you ring and complain or email. They tend to refund my postage as an apology.0 -
How manic are the stores at 5am. I finish work at 4am tomorrow and Im toying with the idea of heading for Next Homeware for 5 but have no idea how busy they tend to be? I have visions of it being chaos. Im not wanting to go at 4 and queue, just head along for about 5...0

Hi. Newbie here. I've read through all the posts and pages here but still have a few questions which some Next Sale experts may be able to help with.... Firstly, how good is the online sale? I'm mainly interested in home stuff, not clothes at all really. Would it be best to just log on and order rather than get up so early and fight the queues? And secondly, from the link someone posted a few pages back I have seen the VIP sale items on the next website and to be honest, there didn't seem to be a lot... especially on the homeware... Is the 'actual' sale a lot lot more items?!0

You're probably best trying your luck in store, most of the items will have gone online in the reasonable sizes.0 -

The VIP sale started on Wed so everything has pretty much gone by now, there was LOADS in the preview before the first slots but it all got snapped up in no time0 -
Despatch email recieved for about 8 of the lots of items I ordered. Like other posters, I tend to get my deliveries in dribs and drabs over the following weeks (and occasionally months) too.Long haul supporter #290POAYDBX2014 #043LBM Dec 2011 Debt £51K Debt Nov 2014 £42K0

I received a VIP invitation and managed to book the first slot.
On preview I found a few items of furniture I wished to purchase so made a note of their numbers. However, when I previewed again on the afternoon of the sale several of these items had been already been sold before 6pm when the sale was supposed to start, so what is the point of offering these slots.
I can only assume the previews are to generate more sales for NEXT prior to the sales (at FULL price???) from people who are desparate to get these items before they sell out.
So I wasted my evening for nothing, as I was offered a ticket to go to a concert at the O2 that night!!!!
I am verrrrrry disgruntled with NEXT.:(0 -

The next workers get their slots for a time before the VIP slots think they get about 3pm so they have s whole 3 hrs for all staff to take their pickings which is probably why some furniture is no longer there.
I noticed today a few new items have popped up in homeward not sure why but def weren't showing on my screen before so might be worth keep checking back and seeing if anything you wanted gets returned.0
