I also got a Thursday shop. Not going to bother looking at the previews as like most have said there will be nothing left by then! No point getting excited lol.

No, pretty sure that you can't and you can't use free delivery codes either

Which one? They certainly switch off the promotions codes box when it's the VIP sale. I've also never been able to have delivered to store with orders I've made during the VIP sale slot

Rang and complained as previous poster did but was told they (the Manager) could not give me a slot (eventhough this was done for other customers!) Asked them to cancel account and catalogue as I and others are being discriminated against. Whats the point having an account if there are no incentives. I will just have to spend more of my money at M&S and Debs!

I will be at the front of the queue on saturday at 5am.. be prepared as i will be tired and in need of my fix of Next sale items after not recieving a slot. Just a pre warning haha!!

I got my vip slot as usual but to be honest I dont think its worth all the hype. In my experience if you go back into the offers section of the website about 2 weeks after the sale you can buy most things. At christmas when i checked my vip order out loads was out of stock - and I had the first time slot. However, I ended up getting about 85% of the stuff i wanted once people starting returning items and the offers section got updated (which tended to be on a sunday during the middle of the night!)

yes, you are right - they do turn off the delivery to store for the VIP slots (and I think for the first few days of the sale itself).

Can you imagine the poor staff having to keep going to fetch endless amount of parcels while trying to cope with the sale instore!

Can anyone remember from previous sales whether they have larger appliances, ie a fridge freezer as ours has given up today :mad: and wondering if its worth holding out until wednesday and seeing if there is one in the sale?
We've bought a tv and smaller kitchen things in the sale before, but I've never really been looking for anything much electricial.
