Not been a bad day for flying today considering...my husband left me today :(. I'm absolutely devastated, I hope it's only temporary but I don't know. I managed to keep a brave face for my children and keep doing normal things for them, but it slipped towards bedtime, I feel so guilty.

Going to go tidy up and then drink a glass of wine to try and get through tonight.

hugs and posivibes coming your way!

Can someone come round and be with you tonight? Just a thought - but you might benefit from some adult company?

Just to round off DS's day they were thrashed at cricket - our team only made 69 - and OH made 33 and DS made 9! DS took the only wicket to fall in their innings and then the captain took him off after he had bowled a maiden!:mad:

Oh well ...... tomorrow is another day..

Hi Kazw I am so impressed with what you have lost I think you have given me the kick I needed that and the fact that I am at the breathing clinic on the 2nd aug and need to have lost half a stone by then:rotfl:
I must go on the bike everyday - if I can do that then I should manage it - I wont be doing anything like as many miles as you did on your machine but if I can do it regularly it will help and hopefully kick-start me to keep going - ideally I need to lose a stone but with all my problems and steroids that make you ravenous its not easy:rotfl: but you are my mentor:D:D:D:D:T:T:T:T

A fine good evening from the Wolf's sofa - done waaaay too much today, and am now paying for it! No matter, it'll all come out in the wash!

Hoping Aj had a wonderful day, and wishing her and DH all the very best for the future,

Poohbear (((HUGS))) awww, sorry to hear you have a KH just now - hope it all sorts itself out.

RachelS oh gods, I have no idea what to say, but big (((HUGS))) to you. And coping vibes.
LW Sorry to hear about your OH's job finding problems too - given how much we use technology you'd think there'd be tons of jobs but there doesn't seem to be! I'm not sure about describing my OH as a 'professional' though :rotfl: maybe when he gets more than NMW, eh. Still, you gotta start somewhere.
Thanks - it was unpleasant, those eleven months with no work, but we got through.:o What I forgot to mention is that his degree is in..... Mechanical Engineering! :rotfl:But he's been doing 'putery stuff now for a good many years.

Mr LW persuaded me to go on the F&V run to Stony Stratford with him, as we needed to visit some other shops - needed some otc meds from Boots, and some wild bird food from the wonderfully named Fur And Purr. Then we went to the Bedfordshire County Show - I think he still needs to learn a little about MSE - he was going to just pay full price entry for 2 adults for us; but I chipped in with "One senior and one disabled, please" so we got £1 off each.:D

I'm completely devoid of spoons; was hoping to make some cherry jam tonight, but I'm afraid it's going to have to wait til tomorrow - I may just eat some cherries though; after all, I need to do a quality control check.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

    juliejim big hugs too.
cyclingyorkie, i'm sorry to hear your DS didn't get the apprenticeship but there will be something round the corner.
RachelS i'm sorry to hear that, take care of yourself honey xx

I've had a very good day, i've been shopping with my sister and mum and no kids. :D Got the boys their desk, chairs and a book shelf. So all has been set up and my feet are aching. :rotfl: Hubby did a fantastic job with the kids, i've worried about it all week but he did great. :D

DW been unloaded and reloaded since i got back.

Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Ohh, not sure I am a good metor, as I have just had a very small bowl of ice cream! but in my defence it is written down in my food book for today!

My machine went back weeks ago as it was not being too MSe, but it for me did work, however each week I have rung the local gyms to see if they had any 'special offers on' this week my very local one and normal the most expensive on has, 6 weeks anytime for £50, so I am booked up, paid up and had my induction, clearly the instructor has a very good understand of exercise / muscles etc, but he has NO idea what so ever over Type 2, and was tell me loads of conflicting information from what the nurse said,. So not best pleased, he also had no idea about how to talk to deaf people as he stood to my side, till put him right about standing in front of me.:rotfl:

He also didn't believe me that I have so far since mid / end of Jan lost 55 lbs! and suggested in a round about way I was lying! I just hope he is not on duty too often when I go.

Anyway Monday is another armful of blood, so I'll be asking the nurse about certain things and waiting with fingers crossed for the results and coming off the tablets!

another pile of gibble out to the bin
    composing and recycling out
    DW on

I may be on a mission today!

I even made DD3 and Tiddles get out of bed and pick up their dirty clothes.. lazy little turds had just left their smelly stuff where they took it off.. it is now inthe basket which was a whole 3 steps away!!!

I am drawing up an Ikea list.. we are going either Wednesday or Thursday this week depending on when the plasterer finishes.. I want to check out the bunkbeds and a couple of single beds for the girls and will order for them to be delivered once home.. along with anothe bookcase I think and one for my sister if she wants one too! There are a couple of mirrors I want and a changing table for the babies.. OH is struggling changing Squeak on the floor so asked if we could get one.. I've never used one so think it is a waste but the sacrifices I make! I also want a highchair as I hate ours and we need a desk and 2 office type chairs and some little bits and pieces I hope to be able to pick up.. and OH wants meatballs :p .. It totals about £500+.

I need to get the WM's on soonish.. and parcel up a Next return which is being collected Monday and an ebay parcel I need posting too. I may as well reload the DW and sort the baby stuff as well.... wonder what is on iplayer to goggle at while I slave away and OH plays on WoW and chats to 'friend' *seethe*

Hope you had a lovely day AJmoney

Hugs for those with OH problems -especially Poohbear

I have had a hugely busy day batch cooking for the freezer and clearing some of the junk. DH has worked for 11 hours solid on the house and has most of the bathroom finished - just a last few bits to gloss before I scrub it all out tomorrow. It does look rather lovely now.

I still have the whole house to clean before my sister arrives to house sit for a week on Friday/Saturday . DH has been helping with this too, and has made the boys and SS2 help
