I am well aware of that - I have a daughter at uni!! It's paid for for by me!! :rotfl:

Where are you studying? Is it far from home?

Very familiar with going home and emptying the cupboards. :D

A certain northern city beginning with M. :p it's not too far, about 2 hours on the train. OH is now working halfway between my home town and my university city which is excellent if he moves there :D

(I'm a bit wary online nowadays cause I once posted something about a girl and she found out and took it the wrong way, and it took about a month to blow over - and it started my most recent bout of anxiety :o)

LW Sorry to hear about your OH's job finding problems too - given how much we use technology you'd think there'd be tons of jobs but there doesn't seem to be! I'm not sure about describing my OH as a 'professional' though :rotfl: maybe when he gets more than NMW, eh. Still, you gotta start somewhere.

Happy wedding day AJ, have a superb day. x

For some reason I thought it would be a good idea to pull out all my clothes from the drawers to look at what I have.

Now I have dumped the whole pile off the bed onto the floor and I have to repick them up and sort them but have no inclination to....but have to.:(

Took DD2 for some impromptu bra shopping, I was going to get a cheap barbecue but hey an opportunity arose in Debenhams sale so we went for that option instead.

Managed to get some of my special ingredients for my stone age/ Paleo diet, so I'll be attempting some baking later.

Other than that my house is a sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetttttttttttttttttttt- teeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeppppppppppppppppp. *Say in a squeaky voice**:D:eek:

    Hello,

Busy day here. Dashed into Manchester this morning and went for a few much needed work clothes, then went to costco to stock up on stuff we get from there.

DH is out cutting the conifer hedge, and then he is going to mow the lawn. Supposed to be glorious sun here after 3pm, but it looks like it might throw it down any minute.
I am just doing a mad run round which hopefully will get the place looking ok.

Hope all is going well for aj.

AJ Happy wedding day, sorry I am so late

Toots Sorry to hear you had such a bad start to the day. I hope things improve for you. Lots of hugs from me.

The rain isn't here yet but I can see it coming over the fell towards us.

pigpen I know you used to have a Henry cleaner. Mine was borrowed by DH at work this week. He has returned it but now it is making a horrible loud howl. Do you have any idea why? It still sucks well but the noise is unbearable.

cycling Sorry to hear about your DS. I hope he finds something soon. Maybe something better will come along.

And for those of you who pray etc. please think of us as DH is being a KH ATM.

    Just seen the time!
I did a tiny bit of painting this morning :o I am a very slow worker!
Arranged with 2 other committee members to meet in town next weekend at the bank to add them as signatories on the club account. We need 2 to sign cheques, & 1 member is absent until further notice (friend that has recent mental health issues). I am going to be away from the club for 4 weeks soon, & the chairman seems to always be on holiday!

Went into town with DD2 to buy a birthday present for DS's friend (a girl - so no use taking him!). Got some nice bangles and other girly stuff from Primark :j

DH is working in the garden. He popped out to B&Q and got the lawn edging he wanted, so he is working on that. He has also cleared the kitchen this morning (washed up, done DW etc :T) I must admit, I am one of the lucky ones :o I had to ask him NOT to put any washing on while I was out!! (need to wash DD1's work stuff, but she doesn't finish 'til 10pm)

I have done a bit of my accounts (income for this tax year so far), but need to finalise last years' and do expenses for this year. i promised myself I wouldn't leave it 'til January this year!!

Ok - I will finish my cuppa, then take the dog for a run/swim, and get some garlic bread, bread & milk on the way home.

It may have something caught in the noonoo hose... unscrew it.. turn it round and see if it slurps anything out that way.. it is usually a piece of wedged cardboard sets mine off

    Has he emptied it?

I know I'm not the one you asked but sounds like something is blocking the tubes somewhere.

2 large boxes and 2 stuffed binbags of rubbish from the girls room.. We sorted ALL the boxes of toys and emptied under Tiddles bed.. Squeak has some new toys and books she is quite excited about.

There are now 9 boxes to be pulled out of there.. 2 with photo's, one with DS1's random gibble and 6 with books!!.. think we may need another bookcase!!!

dressing up all in the wash to be sorted for nursery.. though I am tempted to keep 5 or 6 things for dressing up days and take them the remaining stuff.

I am also going to have the happyland stuffed in the loft.. and will ebay it next year if Squeak doesn't like it! She loves the duplo already!
