Ohmygod someone please tell me how you clean mould from bath sealant before I have a panic attack. I thought she said she had the cleaners in today?! Jesus!

Soak some cotton wool in neat bleach and then stick it on the mouldy mark.

If it's really stubborn leave it there for a day or two and it should disapppear.

Right off to do another HHC if anyone wants to join me!

    Peerless day here.
Think I'm in your part of the world at the moment, although I'm not sure how close to you I am. It's cooled down enough for me to contemplate a walk (not sure where to) and tomorrow I MUST go for a run. I have been kayaking both yesterday and today, went for a walk yesterday and have sailed today.

Jojo ... You have a very full life without a man, so really don't have time for someone like that. If you really do get lonely there are a few flyladies living not to far from you, so be careful what you say :p
  • Thanks ladies. I'm about to trade the cuppa for a pint so I shall be much calmer in an hour or so :D

    Ok so HHC No.2 -

Hung out load number 2 on the line.
Load number 3 in the WM and washing now.
    Cooked tea for the kids.
    Did the small appliances.
Descaled the kettle. Over filled it and nearly blew myself up in the process. I am so out of practice!:o
    And that was it!

  • Have been pottering around getting stuff done all afternoon between rests:
    • changed extractor filter on cooker
    • unpacked flat-pack furniture and put packaging in re-cycling wheelie
    • taken other rubbish out to bin and put bin away after collection
    • vacuumed kitchen
    • made OH's sandwiches for tomorrow
    • cleaned out fridge and threw away a few out-of-date jars
    • cooked and sort-of ate dinner (tried liver. It was gross.)
I'm ready for another HHC at 7pm since I have to clear up dinner things and still have lots on my list to do

I don't *think* he was on the cleaning rota today - or it would have been done better;)

Try milton sterilising fluid. Bleach is cheaper tho'
