staggers into thread, somewhat late....
I am in for the rest of this week - no flying today on account of being dragged on a Yr 1/2 trip to sundown - Valli you were right - we had a great time, but i could have done without 3 hours on a coach...
Got back to a household where OH had made tea for meand had decided that the rest were having fish and chips;) - typical bloke, but hadn't bought any shopping ( we needed milk and toilet rolls) or hung out the washing that I had thoughtfully put on at 7am!:mad:
See you tomorrow - off to watch University challenge...:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
£90 to lance an abcess?!?!?! Rip off merchants or what.. ours was £17 when I took Crackpot!!!!!! They lanced it and washed it out with saline and gave him AB injection. Cheeky gits.. it takes about 5 minutes!!!!!
Ours cleaned he windows when he put them in and whatever they used was wonderful they didn't get dirty for weeks and weeks!
The vet said she has to be sedated. The AB jab and consultation cost the £40.
I doubt the repair man will do oursthe housing association aren't that generous :rotfl:

Hi WendyWitch. Do you go to the one on the main road by the traffic lights? We find if we explain how tight money is they will try and do things the cheapest way possible. The only one who seems not to is the owner...not surprisingly. Though she is very good and cares a lot for the animals.0

ive got a very clingly vocal cat here tonight, he doesnt seem to want to leave me alone. i think its partly because OH isnt here and the cat is used to haveing company during the day. its that bad he was drapped like a scarf round my neck when i was having dinner.
my updated list
bombsite of a bedroom to finish tomorrow, im going to do a bit more tonight and then fall into bed as ive got a hosptail apt at 9.30 so will need to leave around 8.30 because of rush hour traffic.

Was going to have a sit and a read of Fred, but feel a sudden burst of motivation.
Anyone for a HHI???Sarah.
DD is 8 years old DS1 is 6 years old
DS2 is 14 months old0 -
Most flying here has been done by DH. We had only just arrived in a town about half hour drive from home when ds2 school
rang to say they couldn't cope with him and needed me to go into see them straight away. I explained that it would take me a while to get back. DH came with me and Mrs Ofsted was different with him than me. Ds2 was excluded again.
So I had an afternoon of home schooling again. He is allowed back tomorrow but I think they will ring again so I can't go far.
DH washed walls & floor of conservatory and we both tackled a bit of the LR.
Off to do HHC in kitchen0 -
Evening all, sparky not here tonight so fingers crossed for tomorrow or i'll have to ring again. Been shopping with my sis all day so i really should shift and do something. BIL was here when we got back and had hoovered and cleared the kitchen.
I really should go and sort our new bed and move the old one to different places. I should also do an online shop.... I need to find summer jackets for the boys but everywhere i checked today had none. :mad:Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
AJMoney - get well vibes for your mum (((big hugs)))
Downstairs vac'd, kitchen swept & mopped, dinner cooked and eaten. That is enough for tonight
I have phoned Virgin mobile and they have transferred the credit (plus text & web allowances) from DD2's old sim card to a new one. She managed to lose her phone at her prom last week - the phone we got her in May for her birthday  It hasn't been used, and it had only just been topped up. At least we haven't lost the credit aswell (£11+ and 3000 texts & unlimited web) She will have to wait if she wants another phone (or get a job )
catching up with Corrie, and may look at some paperwork while waiting for DH to get home (that will be 4 days on the trot without going away!)0 -
I am mortified. A neighbour just came in to borrow a bicycle pump and DH walked him through the lounge, kitchen and utility into the garage. Everywhere is a tip.
Add to that my 81 year old mother is having a pity party and talking about moving house. We seem to go through this every year or two.
I've just got off the phone to her having pointed out the pros and cons. She said the house is too big for her and she can't cope. I suggested a cleaner like I do every year, but she won't have one. She does have a gardener now.
Then I get off the phone and DH tells me that she had a funny turn the other week-low blood pressure he thinks. She didn't tell me cos she didn't want to worry me, and he forgot to tell me cos his memory is shot (BT!). He still can't remember all the details.......
I'm not phoning her back tonight, it will have to wait until tomorrow.
I'd better go and do a HHC although all I want to do is climb into bed and hide.
Seafarers and all cat lovers - I am going to post a link on my FB. Very funny
ETA ajmoney -hope your DM is okYesterday is history
