    Dinner done
    WM x2 emptied
WM x1 reloaded.. not turned it on yet due to DD3's antics..
    TD on
6 loads of washing folded and put away.
DD3 sat on the kitchen chair screaming at the injustice of having to do as she is told for... 35 minutes...

Ok so in my first HHC in months I -

Cleared and wiped over ALL the kitchen surfaces.
Loaded the DW and turned it on.
Wiped the top cupboard doors over.
Mucked out the MW and wiped it over along with the top of the fridge.
Hung out 1 x load of washing.
Put another load in and on.
    And..........I think that was it!
No it wasn't I slung all the rubbish out as well.

    How did you do hex?

im going to have a couple of HHC in our room sorting this out then im going to go pick up the pressure washer, skip mothercare as got a few months yet and come home and crack on with general house work.

I wouldn't bother buying instore at mothercare - even if you end up getting it online from there you can get nectar card points on their website but not instore. I would have a look at the model you want - check the Which reviews if you can - its been 2 years since I last bought a car seat so I'm all out of date - they are really good at looking at how they actually perform in a crash. Think about if you want it to fit onto your pram or have isofix fixings (insanely expensive)..... Then have a look at the online retailers because they are always cheaper - places like Kiddicare really undercut the high st. If you've got mothercare vouchers to use up I would spend them on nappies or bits you discover you need as the months go by in babe's first year.

Anyway - flying wise the kitchen is not too bad - I have a new dailies list that is on its way to being laminated to be ticked off by me and OH each day or so.

In the last couple of weeks I've discovered the Big Tidy Up just to clear the decks. Even if I only get the downstairs tidy, I feel more capable of getting the upstairs done the next day and adding in a bit of cleaning and decluttering.

Mostly been gardening this afternoon
  • dw unloaded and reloaded, smalls fed, lunches made, wm on again, emptied dyson and went through sitting room, hall and kitchen with it.

I'm in for the first time ever this week. I really need help and support getting on top of my housework. I will try to do level 1 at the very least each day this week.
Thanks, this is a great idea

Hi Lucy. I have been flying a few weeks now but saw major differences within a week or two.

The only reason I would cringe now if people turned up unexpected is because I would probably not be dressed!

I need to find a flying alternative to getting myself sorted each day!

Anyone know what I can do with a punnet of nectarines?

Quidco cashback with both mothercare and kiddicare.

I'd get stuff from the sale racks with vouchers.. they make so much profit their sales are always great.

Britax SHR is still one of the best car seat AFAIK.. and I wouldn't recommend getting one and using it with a chasic.. they are not supposed to be in them very long.. small babies tend to get low SAT's in them.. not just prem ones either!

Keep your eye on the Mammas and Papas site.. they have offers like 75% off stuff randomly.. I got ALL the bedding for the baby for £78 when it was more than that just for the quilt!! (with quidco too)

Dinner mostly scoffed.. my back hurts too much to eat anything more :(

I am going upstairs to sort 2 boxes of crap in the girls room.. 2 boxes a day sorted and out should mean very little is left come Monday when the plasterer comes! :D

  • Ohmygod someone please tell me how you clean mould from bath sealant before I have a panic attack. I thought she said she had the cleaners in today?! Jesus!

On the up side though, the previous tenants left me lots of cleaning stuff (probably because they never used it!) and a lovely set of knives. Silver linings eh?

Sat with a cuppa having moved everything of mine into my bedroom. Thankfully found my phone (so I can put the O2 sim in to save £5/month on broadband) and my dongle so I can go on the internet properly :p
