The jubilant July NSD challenge

As predicted, a very spendy, but quite lovely, day out with the children. Some birthdays coming up so we bought presents and cards too. We got quite a few presents for friends and family to bring with us next week - we're coming from the Middle East so lots of lovely nibbly things to go in the suitcase.
I'm working all day tomorrow so have got everything ready for my packed lunch plus big thermos of coffee. I will be surrounded by temptation though
Enjoy the rest of your day!CC1 £5999 Total Debt March 2021 £5999

I am determined to avoid the Sandwich shop today.
I know I could make them at home for a lot less but I tried that last night and failed miserably(sp).
And also walking past it in the morning makes me crave a warm sausage and bacon baguette. Uh Oh, I thinking today might turn into a spend day.
How about avoiding walking past the sandwich shop,so as not to be tempted?;)
Spend day for me,but not a large amount.Still at #5.0 -

Crikey, where are you muffin man? We just had thunder and lightening and sheet rain that would have knocked me right over if we'd gone ahead with our walking marathon training - but we decided we'd find something better to do - like stay in work until it passed!
No NSD again today; forgot to take my lunch in so spent £1 on that. And still never made it to the post office. So tomorrow isn't looking good either...

Now, now - no F-words here please!
How about keeping some baguettes in your freezer and making up one to take to work? You could have a sandwich shop one once a week as a treat. I found sandwiches quite a hard habit to break, but enjoy the savings of making my own! Shop bought are so expensive!
Sorry, Okay I will do my up most to limit them down! I will have to find a decent sandwich that I can make up at home to take to work. Oooo Peanut butter and jam sandwich has just sprung to mind, cant buy them anywhere, saves money. Off to the shops today seen as its already a spend day, then can claim one tomorrowNargleblast wrote: »Stapler - wash your mouth out with soap, you naughty creature! We do not use the f word here - we just say we did not quite manage a NSD this time but will definitely catch some more before the month is out.

Stapler - peanut butter sarnies....now you're talking! Protein, fat, carbohydrate - add a banana for the minerals and fibre and you have all your daily requirements in one tasty lunch. Better than a soggy limp sarnie from the sarnieshop! One life - your life - live it!0
