Hi I know it's a bit late but can I join please? I would like to try for 12 NSD for the rest of July, it's going to be hard but I am determined to cut my spending this month.

Rock-Cakes thats great news! I dread job hunting! I seem to spend most of my life looking for a new job! Giving it a rest for a year or so hopefully!

No NSDs for me, didn't get petrol so definitely definitely will be getting some on the way to Zumba tonight!

Hiya! Can I officially join please?! I had my target all ready for last Friday and then forgot to come and register!

I'm going for 12 NSD this month, but I have had 3 already since Sunday, so am doing quite well! It's just trying to train myself to either not have to buy anything or if I know I need to spend to do it all on the same day, as there is a great sense of satisfaction when I reach my target!

    Good Luck everyone!

Kippers are indeed working - though won't be a NSD today - but a planned spend and I'm hoping to rival Cheryl again ;) (oh...and shhhh...but it involves toilet rolls!)

Is it silly I am still feeling somewhat hurt by my friends comments today? This might sound lame but it's not what she said, but the way she said it. We all mess about sometimes and call each other silly things but this didn't feel like messing around. What's also annoying me is that I have taken her cinema card in the past (ok not often as I don't go to the pics very frequently) in order to collect points for her on that. Which to me is somewhat double standards.

I don't know whether I'm making a mountain out of a molehill and should just leave it to blow over, or say something...? :(

No, Kerri, it's not silly! Things like that bug me too! Sometimes they way something is said can cut you to the quick, no matter how trivial the subject. You have to be on the receiving end to understand the gist of it so to speak. Usually there is a touch of the green eyed monster lurking behind remarks like that. People dont like to see others being disciplined, getting on, doing their own thing etc. (Unless it's us lot on here, heh, heh)

    Now, now - no F-words here please!:naughty:
How about keeping some baguettes in your freezer and making up one to take to work? You could have a sandwich shop one once a week as a treat. I found sandwiches quite a hard habit to break, but enjoy the savings of making my own! Shop bought are so expensive!

Still struggling with my teeth although the ulcers are clearing up. I am back at the dentist tomorrow and Im hoping he can fix things a bit.
I am toiling with my NSD's this month, mainly cos I feel so out of sorts. Went to A$DA this morning for a very quick shop, as I need food that I can eat (nothing very chewy). Got Cumberland pie and pasta bake, which I grant you I could make myself, but I'm just not in the mood for cooking from scratch! I am sick of soup and yogurt!
So low spend today, hopefully will make up for it tomorrow!

    Have a lovely day everyone:)

I hope you feel better soon Jintyb. I had my teeth cleaned yesterday at the dentist and I'm still suffering, though they are sparkly!

Sprozza and Queen bess - welcome to the asylum! Solvent Soon (aka Spoon) will no doubt be along later to officially add you to the list.

Stapler - wash your mouth out with soap, you naughty creature! We do not use the f word here - we just say we did not quite manage a NSD this time but will definitely catch some more before the month is out.

Spendy day for me today, odds and ends bought in town. However I did have a play with my essential oils today - made some spray cologne and some scented body butter. And Igor did not get anywhere near the stuff so it's safe to use.

Keep the NSDs rolling in, everyone is doing really well - even if you just have 1 NSD it's a start! And if you have zero - well, the month is yet young so there's time to catch up yet.
