Hi guys, have been reading through your great thread, and hope its not too late, can I join you please?:o
I would like to attemp 8NSD's but dont think I'm brave enough to attempt more than 2 in a row!
I think I may have done 2NSD's this week, but not totally sure so won't count them, as I have been trying not to buy dinner in work and use that money saved toward the make £10 a day July challange. Does that count as a spend if the money I would have spent is saved and used toward that challange?
I would count any spending of money or spending on debit card, but not normal payments coming our of our bank account if thats okay?
Please let me join, this thread is so motivating, and I have been trying to spend as little as possible to try and keep money in my bank as long as possible!:p
I think your thread is really good they way you are all offering each other support and kind words of encouragement. You are a nice bunch of people.:T:T:T

Hi Frodobaggins (love the name, btw) and welcome to the asylum commonly known as the NSD challenge.

Of course you can join us, you're very welcome, I'll sign you up now before you have time to come to your senses and change your mind:D:D

You decide how you want to run your own challenge, the only rule we have is that we don't use the f(ail) word, that's not allowed, anything else that's legal is:D. There are some really helpful hints in BigMumma's post usually at the top of each page, have a read of that, it should help.

I can see you have the NSD bug already so you'll do brilliantly this month. Keep posting and feel free to join in the general chat, we all try to help and encourage each other, and we have the odd laugh and mad moment along the way - it all helps!:D

Good luck, hope you enjoy the challenge

    Hi lovely gang:A
Sorry, long post warning...... You're keeping me busy:rotfl:
I’m loving all the sandwich recipes today, I can see I’m going to have to try some of them...

A warm welcome to some more newbies joining up today, it’s great to have you on board. If you’re not sure about anything please ask, we’re very friendly and there’s usually someone around to help. Feel free to join in with the chat and general nonsense on here, we’re fairly tame (well, most of the time). Good luck with your first NSD challenge - keep posting, that’s the secret to success here.

    So a big welcome to:

:hello:sprozza - all signed up now for your 12 now, good luck with getting there, you can do it!
Keep posting, that’s the secret to success and ask away if you want to know anything, we’re a friendly bunch (if prone to flights of fancy occasionally...)

:hello:Queen.Bess - I had signed you up already based on you post on June’s thread but welcoming you officially now, good luck with getting to your target, you can do it!!
Keep posting, that’s the secret to success and ask away if you want to know anything, we’re a friendly bunch (if prone to flights of fancy occasionally...)

:hello:Frodobaggins - all signed up now for your 8 now, good luck with getting there, you can do it!

    Hello to:

Stapler - be strong, you can avoid the sandwich shop... hmmmm.. I won’t tell you off about the “f” word as I can see others have beaten me to it. Home-made lunches are so much healthier than shop bought, though I will admit that shop bought are good. I treat myself to one a week and really enjoy it because it is a treat - maybe you could try cutting down gradually to start with?

beanie - yes of course you can, will increase your “in a row” target to 7. You’re very brave, I don’t think I could do that in a million years

jaffacakegal - hope the petrol spends weren’t too serious

jinty - not surprised you’re struggling with NSDs this month, I think anyone would given what you’ve been through. Good news the ulcers are clearing up and fingers crossed your dentist can do something to help you tomorrow (((hugs))) xx

Nargle - it sounds as though you had a good day today, probably very wise to keep Igor well away from the bottle of vodka!

positivelypurple - pleased you had a good day out with the children, it sounded fun, and good news you got lots of presents for your trip back to the UK next week. Hope work goes well tomorrow, though you’re probably already there!!

marmiterulesok - well at least your spend day wasn’t a mega spendy one, that’s something

nicca - oh dear, another day going pear-shaped, but there’s still plenty of time and you’ve got 3 in the bag already

LittleMissHappy - hope you enjoyed the film?

kerri - oh dear, sorry about all the missing bargains today, that’s a pain

No NSD for me today, still on no 6. I have spent so much money today I feel quite ashamed to be doing this update tonight:o:o

Off to update the front page now, so see you all tomorrow.

    ‘night everyone
    spoon xx

Hi everyone, I've been away for a few days, I had a tooth taken out so I've been feeling a bit sorry for myself! So there was a bit of spending to make myself feel better.... oops

Believe me I feel your pain! Hope you're feeling better today!

    Good morning all!

Dentist day today, TG! I cant wait to get there and I hope he can sort out my mouth! Never thought I'd look forward to going to the dentist quite so much - anything to take away this discomfort!
I have to nip into town today as I have a couple of things to do that I cannot put off any longer.
Not sure if I'll make it a NSD or not!

    Have a lovely day everyone!;)
