Call centre locations?

Hi,

Just a quickie I hope - can anyone list the major mobile networks and where their call centres are based?

Orange
Vodafone
O2
3
etc?

I'm due to upgrade this weekend after a 2-year contract with O2 - had a lovely conversation with someone in their UK-based call centre, to get my PAC code so I am ready to get the best deal I can find on either an iPhone 4 or a Samsung Galaxy SII (haven't decided yet).

Network coverage is an important issue - I've tried 3 and had no coverage at home or work, and I really, really hate their overseas customer 'service', very rude when I needed to switch at the end of the contract 2 years ago. I was pleasantly surprised by O2 this week, who gave me none of the hassle that 3 did, but sadly the network coverage is poor at home and work too! Starting to wonder if I'm just living and working in black spots :D

I want to only look at networks with UK based call centres, hence the query. Thanks all :)

Orange - North Tyneside, Bristol, and Plymouth, Darlington
(Glasgow - Home Broadband) also have offshore call centres

O2 - Glasgow, Bury near Manchester, Leeds, Preston

Vodafone - Newbury, Kilmarnock, Falkirk, Warrington

    3 - India (Glasgow - Customer Relations)

There might be more but thats what i know......
  • Orange no longer have a call centre in Bristol, they made us redundant in April 2010 :(

I think that list is out of date. If you call Vodafone or Orange then you are most likely to get an overseas call centre.

I'm sorry to hear that...... :(

Was this due to the merger between T-Mobile and Orange?? I also see that the head office for Everything Everywhere is now in Hatfield, which as i understand was T-Mobile's head office.

Maybe.. But there are a few call centres in Scotland, one of which is in Kilmarnock, there is another on Rothesay (Isle of Bute) and one in Central Scotland (Falkirk)

;) Good to hear they still do CS there. When I worked there it was Registrations and CS - I worked on Registrations and loved it! :)
