Do check ferry prices first just in case they have a deal going. plus websites. I go alot and prices do vary.
not sure about the shorter crossingas as we use the Eurotunnel .... but when we went to Brittany for May half term we paid £206 Plymoouth - Roscoff with the SUN .
If we booked direct with Brittany ferries it would have been £528 !!

    Hi Guys,

A bit of advice please, if you don't mind??
I have been on many many Sun holidays but have always stayed in the UK. I really like the sound of La Croix as it is close to Disneyland. How many days do you go for? I always thought going out of UK for a weekend or Monday to Friday would not be long enough????
Any advice would be a big help.

    Cheers

we usually do Mon - Fri @ La Croix
although we have done just a Fri - Mon, with a few days closer to Disney ( @ the Adagio aparthotel)

Le Chene Gris is closer ( 15 mins drive) if you purely want to be close to Disney

it has a pool etc too,but not as big a site as La Croix

In Feb this year we did just 2 days ( 1 night) in France for a Disney fix ! ( with the SUN cheapy day hoppers ;) )

hubby doesn't mind driving thankfully ,and drives loads with his job,so the drive to him is nothing

but I can understand that for some it seems a looooong drive !

You can extend to a 7 night holiday sometimes ( not sure if all dates) too

  • Hi, I have never gone on a Sun holiday before so I am a little confued. Am I able to used the priority booking code on here on do everything online, without sending off vouchers? I have collected a few but I have missed Sundays. So if I can just do it online using the codes on here, that would make my life much easier.

Hi you can only book it online if you have a priority code which is sent on the letter you get from the sun you then go online and put the codes on the front page on.
As you havent booked before im assuming you havent had a priority letter and so cant do it online, so will have to do it by post im afraid unless someone gives you theirs (there is a thread for asking for one)

if its your first time you need to collect the paper tokens and send them off. you can only book online with a priority code

once you have been on a SUN holiday, you should receive a priority booking form the next time round ( and then you wont need the paper tokens ,just the words from them and then book online)

Bit of a pain having to wait and see if you have a holiday, but we all had to start that way :)

unless you can get hold of a priority code from someone or buy one on ebay etc

Good luck & welcome to MSE
