Unless you're jogging and then wear a jogging skirt over the topgirlatplay wrote: »I live about 10 minutes from there. It is far too expensive. I have been loads so only really go if they have a free weekend now. There are lots of other places in Edinburgh I like to go to that don't cost. This is a nightmare time of the year as the festival is on. I used to live in the High Street, I can't even begin to explain how annoying tourists are!! (:o sorry any tourists)
£21.00 for me today from over the weekend please Winnie. So sorry for calling you Minnie in my last post. I have no idea how I managed that, I know what your name is, I love your name!!
Gap x
Britannia was expensive enough but we spent near on 2 hours in there so it worked out okay and Ma really wanted to go ...
Still glad I'm not the only one who is holidaying under budget....
As for the tourists LOL....Did you know Cambridge has 3 seasons (not four)...tourist season, student season and foreign wee imbelic teenager season...
Tourists are a minor irritation compared to the foreign teenagers..these are the ones that cycle the wrong way up a one way street then complain when they get run over (happened more than once the four years I lived there)....these are the ones who don't understand UK money and can't speak English so when you have 20 of them on their first UK bus ride the bus is 30 minutes late  - not that they ran on time anyways....
So yeah feel blessed hun you just have to contend with the tourists...if you want to get away from them come to the north east....no tourists here
