    Morning all,

    Had a phonecall this morning off Eon asking why I kept making small payments to them :o the woman told me it wasnt worth making the smaller payments and I may as well just save it and make one lump payment at the end of the month. She's obviously never heard of PAD-ing :) told her I will continue to be making small payments as it obviously is working as I have paid an extra £50 in the last month off our arrears on top of the payment plan we have in place.

    So with that in mind todays PAD is £7.18 to Eon please :D

    What a waste of time and money ringing you to ask you that!!! Sounds like my Mr Npower man. They should appreciate getting paid the doughnuts!

It feels strange doing this but needs must and hopefully something will come along. Interview tomorrow for a partime job but i dont hold out much hope as its a strange one.:o

    That's Edinburgh castle in sepia.. very expensive to go in though and too touristy for us :)

    I live about 10 minutes from there. It is far too expensive. I have been loads so only really go if they have a free weekend now. There are lots of other places in Edinburgh I like to go to that don't cost. This is a nightmare time of the year as the festival is on. I used to live in the High Street, I can't even begin to explain how annoying tourists are!! (:o sorry any tourists)

    £21.00 for me today from over the weekend please Winnie. So sorry for calling you Minnie in my last post. I have no idea how I managed that, I know what your name is, I love your name!!

    They don't want the doughnuts, they want the interest...

    All these little payments are probably killing them in admin costs, so it's actually worth their while to pay someone to phone up. Haa ha ha ha haaaha ha!

    I think I might make my payments smaller, but twice a day now I've heard this! :rotfl:

    :rotfl::rotfl:Good idea.

    I told the Eon lady that the only reason I wasnt making even more regular smaller payments is because when you pay on their website its a minimum £5 payment. She was quite shocked and said surely people wouldnt pay less than that off their account - oh how she has much to learn :rotfl:

    I try and go at least once every couple of years during the free weekend too :money:

    I love the town during the festival - it's so full of folk and the atmosphere is amazing. I have come too close to scraping some of the b*ggers off the bonnet of my wee car though - why do people lose their road-sense when they go on holiday?!

    I must say, since I moved away from the High Street I appreciate the festival a bit more now. Litttle Miss's dad knocked a tourist down one time. The guy stepped out from between parked cars and had looked the wrong way. Luckily he wasn't badly hurt but it was a scary time.
