Sorry to hear about your sister Sophia.

My sister and her hubby were burgled a day or two after returning from a 2 week holiday last year. They stole pretty much anything of value, including the camera that had all of their holiday photos on, and some jewellry that my sister's husband had given to her on their wedding day. They also smashed the bathroom window with a brick, which bounced in the bath, and then through the glass shower windows! Not enough they have to steal, they have to do damage too??!!:mad::mad:

Anyway, just want to point out that sometimes the insurance peeps do pay out, as they did for my sis and her husband. But I have no idea why they didn't with Flower, and did with my sis. Maybe they are different companies with different policies? I don't know.

Hi I know what you mean She is still devastated and trying to sort everything else my nan gave her a crockery set as they threw all the kitchen cupboards out on floor breaking everything bar 2 dinner plates 4 side plates and a couple cups. I wish she had the insurance though as at least it could have been a bit easier sorting everything out.
Thanks everyone for you thoughts I will pass them on.
I wish I was in a better position to write off the £500 she owes me but I said to take her time paying back and she has said she will pay me £50 a fortnight unitl cleared.

Och that sounds so lovely and I don't even celebrate xmas :D

I love kicking my debt's butt (or derriere as I call it :T)...

Getting paid early (thursday rather than Tuesday) so that will muck up the budget potentially but still. I have about £37 till Tuesday (excluding thursday) and with the potential of this DD for macbook still coming out tomorrow I'm making sure I have zero money in my account tomorrow :T.

Then huge pad on Thursday then very little for another 2.5 weeks...but still. Budget on track :) so happy...

Then come home and so some serious ebaying :)

But is that per month or more often Frodo? It's still alot of money. I 'aim to PAD just over £300 on target debt so I'm well impressed with that (£450 pad total)...and that's per month!! So don't beat yourself up about that PAD :)

Please don't hun. It's not going down that's the crime but staying down....You've had your LBM so breathe hun breathe...

Sorry you're sick GAP - rotten time to be sick but worth it in the long term. Hope you're nearest and dearest is looking after you right now...

PAD £12.21 for me today to CC3. :) Hopefully my CC2 bill will come today, then I can work out what the damage will be! It's usually around £150 per month  most of which is interest
