Hi all, £32 of survey and cashback money being padded to my (small) savings account. I'm counting this as a pad as it will be saved towards something now rather than frittered away. Will pad to my cc when I get paid on Friday, hoping to clear that by the end of January now.

Well done to all who have paid something off - doing very well for December. :T

Get well soon to GAP & sorry to hear about the burglary at your sister's sophia - stealing from someone's home is bad enough but taking kid's Christmas presents is low.

Back to work today and next day off is Christmas day. *sigh*
Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £11,174, Car loan 2 £5,532, CC 0% BT £780. Debt Free Diary to try & keep spending in check.

  • Afternoon all... I've just found out I've got a perforated ear drum :( This means while I won't now be working over christmas my pay at the end of Jan will be completely pants... I'm currently waiting for an appointment at my doctors as the walk-in centre don't issue sick notes and my work policy as of today is a note is needed for even just one day of absence. I've been told to be off for a week but I'm not convinced that a perforated ear drum will heal in that time? My laptop also decided to die again, and I only had a new hard drive put in a few months ago! Not a good week so far :(

Hope everyone else is having more luck! And if not, hugs to all x

Ooft, Psycho, that's not so good :(

Hope your doctors will give you a note - mine won't unless they're signing you off for a week. Your work sound like right @rses ;)

The nurse said that on the phone but I explained that I need one even if I have to pay for it because of the stupid policy. I daren't even call in sick until I know for 100% sure after I've been to the doctors... :o

I'm just popping in with a PAD of £2.39 (the extra pound is to make up for my PADless day yesterday :))
