Could I join your thread please? It sounds so motivating to put something aside each day off a debt. It must really help to see it go down.

For the last few months I have been doing the NSD challenge but I'm not sure how this would work with a payment a day?

I have a credit card I would like to work on. The balance was £920.03 but after yesterdays direct debit payment of£23.00 its now £897.03.

Iwill put £5 away in a pot today, and I will add whatever I can manage each day. Each week I will pay the money I have collected as extra payments to the card. I won't count the regular £23 monthly direct debit payment, as that will cover the interest. Is that Okay?

    :j:j:j I've done it!!! I'm debt free!!! :j:j:j

Was going to wait until tomorrow to do it but then I thought "why? the money is there." So went at lunchtime and handed over the last of my "savings". I can't quite believe it, it really hasn't sunk in. I hope it does soon as I feel a little flat :(:o

So, today's PAD is £738.70 please Hopeful :)

I'm off to think of a new signature.

Welcome Froddo, but be warned, Padding is addictive!

Some people count their regular or minimum payments and others only count the 'extras' so whatever you choose is fine and it sounds as if you have a plan already.
My Pads for yesterday and today are £10.03 to M!nt please Hopeful.

I'm planning to use my ccs a bit over the next 2 weeks:eek:, but should be able to pay off what I put on with December's pay. We are away for trips to & with family a week on Monday and will be celebrating Christmas early (which I hadn't budgeted for!).

Didn't take lunch to work today as I slept in, but was so busy at work I didn't have time for lunch either, so no unnecessary spend today.

    Have a good weekend peeps.
