Meant to say, does anyone watch the programme on Ch 4 about people's houses who are about to fall down?
The one last week gave me the shivers as it was totally wreaked inside with damp etc and it turned out it was all down to the woman never cleaning her gutters (she'd been there 23 years).
Mine are done now & then but not as often as they should be - managed to catch the window cleaner when he was doing the rounds and they'll do them for £20 - doesn't sound too bad, how much do you pay?

Tumpty I used to stay in a lovely youth hostel at Poppit Sands in Wales when the kids were young.
Would love to go back there! Here dead we lie because we did not choose

Life, to be sure, is nothing much to lose,
But young men think it is,
And we were young.

I bought a huge tomato plant from the garden centre where I attend my dance therapy for £2 and had so much attention when I in popped to the shops with it on the way home!
I do dance therapy too, I find it excruciatingly embarrasing, I never dance unless I am very drunk normally!0 -

I love dance therapy a really strange phenomenon that is powerfully effective.

Went tolocal market yesterday and was suprised and pleased to find the meat van had boxes of 12 packs (2 in pack) Gammon steaks for £6 when I got home I realised these were Sainsburys basics with a best before of end May 2012.
They are not a discontued line as Sainsburys still have them at £1.06a pack so I am wondering why these would be ona market van.
Anyone any suggestions please.Market is only on once a week so cannot askthe Man until then.Slimming World at target0 -

Ahem. Nothing. I'm like the woman with the wrecked house, I never get them cleaned.(No damp yet, though.)

Nor do I!

We had a super time in Brighton, thanks, and saw 6 weddings, whilst walking round. The temperature was perfect, and we did quite a lot of walking, taking in the sights and sounds.
The sea front was heaving, and we saw dozens of youngsters decamping from the train, in high spirits, the lads with holdalls, and the girls with suitcases - obviously hen and stag weekends.
Only spent a fiver all day, so a nice frugal day out, and great fun.
