Should really be doing some work and not on here, but had to say, so sorry to hear what happened to your car, Mingle. What do 'they' get out of the wanton destruction of someone else's property?

Just a quick message as hubby desperate to get on laptop!

2 UU's to report, 1st was a Clarins Day cream sample sachet - WNBA as found it too rich for my skin and ended up using it on my hands.

The 2nd is S & G Rub your nose in it - WBA, love this product! I already have another in my stash to use but will be stocking up next time I see it on offer.

Haven't made much progress with my stash list, still have 2 cupboards to check out but have been at home/out with DS this week, so might get it finished at the weekend x

Was looking through my stash for a tube of foot cream and came across my unopened bottle of S&G clean on me, this is the one from the christmas tote bag and it has gone curdled and discoloured. It has been in a cupboard and never been opened, also it says use within 24 months of opening. Have now opened it and it smells the same but still it shouldn't look like that. Does anyone else still have theirs from the tote bag?

Thanks for posting that - I've just checked mine and it has started to look a bit strange so I have just switched it for the part-used TBS Sweet lemon one I've been using. It smells fine as you say, and when I unscrewed the lid and lifted the pump bit out it looked fine too, but better safe than sorry!

    The good news:

    A few UU:
50ml TBS Shea Body Butter- Came free with a magazine last year and I WBA as it's so lovely!
50ml TBS Mango Shower Gel- This was my last mango, but i'm a but tired of it now.

    The Bad News:
I got back to find some scrotum had smashed in my rear windscreen and grafitti'd the back of the car. Nothing was stolen but they had been in the car because they'd 'tagged' the ignition. Lots of faff and put a bit of a downer on the holiday.

    I hope you're all well!

G1t5! - what a rotten thing to have done to you Mingle. :( Re the windscreen - can you not claim a rear screen through your car insurance? It ought to just cost you the windscreen excess then and shouldn't affect the premium or your no-claims either?

Just having a sort out of toiletry type bits to go to the beer festival with us - the ends of two footsprays are going with me - blissful when you change shoes at the end of the night! I've also set aside half a bottle of extremely elderly talc to go - the flat we're staying in is very hot compared to what we are used to so some talc comes in handy to make getting to sleep at night more comfortable. MrEH has also just topped up his little shampoo bottle with some from half a hotel freebie one.

Mingle - so sorry to hear about your car. My wing mirror was kicked off my car a week after I had bought it, so annoying! To make matters even worse, the car had only been bought to replace the car my OH wrote off in the snow. He was only insured third party on it too so we didn't get a penny. Big hugs to you, glad the repair wasn't as costly as you thought. Chin up lovely.

I also recommend the scrubby gloves, you can also get them from Primark. They work wonders on my scaly crocodile shins. I sound a treat, don't I?:rotfl:

Painted my nails with No 7 Rose Truffle (came in a free gift years ago and never used) and I must admit I was impressed with both the colour and coverage - I never have the patience to do 2 coats. Several girls commented on it at work so I must make an effort to do it more often. It also stops me from picking at the skin around my cuticles, terrible habit that.

    Hope everyone is well,

    Xx

RE The Car: I only have tpf&t at the moment but i'm due a renewal soon and it was actually cheaper for me to go comprehensive! I've moved to a really deprived area of Salford- the school where I taught at and that is coincidentally around the corner has something like 72% of students claiming free school meals :o! i'm just guessing that being the school holidays and having nothing to do around here that doesn't cost a lot of money kids got bored. It's no excuse really but it contrasts so much with my childhood where in the summer holidays we had day trips, visited family, went to the library etc. I'm just about to get the windscreen fixed (I've put it in secure parking for a short time) so hopefully when it's all done and the paint is off I can forget about it all :):) Thanks for all the kind words :)

    A UU:
Avon Botanics honey and lemon shower gel- WBA as it was so nice and very MSE- it lasted forever! I'm now on to Avon Magnolia and Jasmine and have swapped to TBS Wild Cherry Body Butter teehee!

I think I might have to invest in some scrubby gloves - I noticed that my skin was much better when I was using my shower puff with a shower gel so I might keep trotting that out once I'm back to shower gels I can't get any more and want to eke out.

Also not to be a naughty enabler, but if anyone needs (OK wants) anything from the Body Shop TopCashBack are doing 25% off and 25% cashback this weekend... *whistles*
