  • Hello,

My Latest in Beauty sample box arrived today with a generous sachet of Burt's Bees therapeutic bath crystals, 2 sachets of Crabtree and Evelyn Lily body lotion and a small vial of Lily eau de toilette, and a tiny tube of Yu-be - a sort of wonder-cream for lips and dry skin. I was applying it compulsively today - it has a really nice texture and I'd be very tempted to buy it. It was exciting getting the samples, even though I knew what they were going to be. :)

xoxo I think they look amazing!

ladyM, what shampoo/conditioner is that ? :D I've just tried general colour shampoos, didn't know there were special red ones.

It's John Frieda Radiant Red. :) It's a bit pricey at £5 each for the shampoo and conditioner but it lasts for ages and really does work. :D I swear by it. :D Also, Superdrug sometimes have an offer on where you buy 2 for £8 so save £2. :)

OMG xoxo - those nails are FAB !!! Roll on the weekend so I can have a go at it !!!!

one UU today - and one throwout, the UU was the Ted Baker body lotion from the gift set, WIBA? probably, but Im getting more of a fan of body souffle now - its lighter than butter, but not as runny as lotion, so it kinda fits what I want perfectly. Dont need anything yet though - still got the remains of the souffle from the set, and i have aquired the Love etc BB as well.

the throw away was a boots botanics eye gel - its old now, and im pretty sure I shouldnt be using it near my eyes. Thinking about it, I might fish it out and see if its any good for my feet....
Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup
  • Morning - another day, another UU!

UU- crabtree and evelyn lily body lotion sachet x2 - smells lovely but not amazing enough to buy at the C&E prices

    Throw away - shaving foam

I,m back:)....been on holiday to a (very) hot Portugal, hardly wore make up as it just melted off so quickly and as had a tan did not look too bad.Had a mini face lift using a sort of roller thing that draws impurities to the surface:rotfl:
uu ...left shower gel...original source lime (mens one)very refreshing and the pantene colour protect conditioner at the hotel as could not be bothered to bring back.
anyone tried the ultra lift sachets of anti wrinkle stuff yet?
thinking about applying for another job...part time 1 night 4.30 to 9.30 term time but can't decide if I really want to at my age(57)and would it be too restricting as a monday and we do like to go away for hols/weekends off peak time(this is in a school adult education )
after the holiday my psoriasis is soooo much better plus aches and pains less, really need to move to the sun,DH even says I should and he would get a flat here but would miss him too much:(

    The good news:

    A few UU:
50ml TBS Shea Body Butter- Came free with a magazine last year and I WBA as it's so lovely!
50ml TBS Mango Shower Gel- This was my last mango, but i'm a but tired of it now.

    The Bad News:
I got back to find some scrotum had smashed in my rear windscreen and grafitti'd the back of the car. Nothing was stolen but they had been in the car because they'd 'tagged' the ignition. Lots of faff and put a bit of a downer on the holiday.

    I hope you're all well!

UU: Clinique All About Eyes sample (15ml)

WIBA? Maybe. It was a bit old, so I think it was slightly past its best, but I'm sure that it was OK.
