  • I'd certainly be writing a letter of complaint and expecting some form of compensation - I thought most of these things had a guaranteed time for fixing things?

  • I have already activated a letter of complaint but the ineptitude of these people totally stuns me. It has been error after error on their behalf. I have ni contacted watchdog and will be talking to office of fair trading in morning. I will be asking for compensation. Not a route i would normally take but i am totally and utterly fed up. 13 days with no heating or hotwater is ridiculous.x

So Christmas gifts, bought, wrapped and food shop complete and all with a little cash left in the bank. Have no intentions of sale shopping in the new year unless i get any vouchers for xmas. But know things are about to get tighter. OH's pay will drop to half cos he is still off sick. So have decided that the food budget will get a serious looking at so that we don't have to lower our dmp. Refuse to be in this any longer than we have to he and luckily everyone is skint after xmas so everyone will be in the same boat.

Pleased that we have managed to buy a little thoughtful gift for select family members instead of the crap that we used to buy so that has made Christmas nicer.

So my next plan is to work any overtime ours that come up in January, February etc to cover our shortfall and if OH makes it back to work within 6 months it will be a bonus. Cos then he will just get stat sick pay and Im not sure what we would do.

Trying not to worry about that and just enjoy xmas but already the cogs are ticking in my head for what we will do.

May need to post a new SOA and get really ruthless.

So that's me for now. Merry Christmas guys. L2B.x
