Morning. Had a mental few days. Had issues with my boiler, and my home emergency cover but after a lot of careful thought and rewording of my issues managed to get a repair man out and saved myself £140.

Checked the budget yesterday and realised i had underbudgeted by 50quid. So my little xmas fund has been totally depleted. What with that and boiler service. Feel a little sad but i am now more determined to get back on track and make more savings if i can.

Am joining stoptober cos i am fed up of smoking and coughing. Down to 2 a day and looking forward to becoming smoke free!!!

What a cr*p month. Would like this year to be over so we can start afresh. OH has had a breakdown so life is a little stressful at min to say the least! Unfortunately i haven't managed to cut out my 2 fags a day. Although i know it would be in my interests to do it.

So now looking for a positive.........60 months left on dmp. Hopefully reducing this when childcare costs drop in September.

So life has been incredibly stressful and what have i done?? Spent! Should be keeping my purse shut but instead i have been buying. DD1 has shot up so had to buy new leggings and then i started buying xmas stuff. All things on my list though do it hasn't been random stuff.
Have joined the NOvember challenge so maybe that will get me back on track.

Not really eaten a lot but have fed the kids.....so food shop has lasted nearly 2 weeks. Which is a bonus.

Busy selling on fb at the min. So hopefully i can regain some money for xmas pot and have budgeted for car tax do that is another stress off.

Just need to pick my mood up and stay positive for all our sakes.

Just wanted to say that I came across this today and I think you've been doing so well - don't give up now when you've come so far.

Thanks wintersunseeker. Means a lot. The last month has been horrid but now my oh is getting the medication he needs i am feeling more optimistic.
Christmas shopping is nearly finished and its only November. So we will have run up no new debt for Christmas.

Lots of new challenges ahead of us in the new year and hoping to cut our dfd again to 3 years in April. But 59 months to go as it stands at minute.

Well what a balls up I've made of this months money already. Thought i was mega organised but its the most skint we've been in a year. Managed to sell a few bits to make food shop money so we have enough to tide us till payday now.

Have had mega issues with heating and hotwater.....none for 9 days now. At war with the plumber!!

But i shall tighten belts and it will all come good.
Very busy week next week so that should sort my NSD total and get me on the straight n narrow again.
Really annoyed with myself but nearly at the new year and things are gonna have to get better.......fresh start and although i say it every year i will be better at budgeting.

Nearly 58 months till we are debt free. So like nemo i shall just keep swimming.

Ahhhhh L2B just spied your diary (not sure why I've never seen it before ) - haven't managed to read all the way through but sorry things have been tough recently and hope DH is on the mend?

Really hope you get your boiler fixed soon .... and I do like the "days to DF" but like "sleeps to Santa / holiday".

Well still no heating and won't have for a few more days. Emergency home cover my !!!!!! I am fuming and have two cold small children!!!

The stress of this has pushed my oh lower and we are struggling a little tbh.

But everyday brings us a step closer to being debtfree so must keep smiling. L2B.x
