:oDeclaring a budget busting July of well over £600!!!!!:eek:DH bought a couple of lunches at work and we had lots of takeaways! I also did lots of stocking up on basmati rice on offer (I now have 45kg...) and other things. It was good to do once in a while, but I wouldn't want to (nor could I really afford to!) spend that every month. August's belts have been duly reined in and we'll go back to normal ;-)

Hey All,
Sorry I haven't been on as much as I'd hoped. Been doing the bathroom and the last couple of weeks at work were chaotic. Hoping to have a bit more time as we'red off now for a couple of weeks but need to finish the bathrooom and have a bit of 'us time' iykwim. It's been a long hard 12 months since OH got ill and everything went to hell and back so I'm looking forward to getting into a new year.
Anyway, I have been keeping track of shopping and can declare July at £200.35 against budget of £240.
As it's birthday time during August, please list my budget as £250, thank you.
Sorry I haven't caught up with all the posts I've missed but congratulations and commiserations to all those deserving or needing them.
Right, now to find the August thread ...
Take care,
