Afternoon all
Been MIA but have been loosely keeping tabs on the spends, it's now rather "too loosely" so time to get back on the GC wagon!
PLEASE CAN YOU PUT IN FOR £400 FOR AUGUST
We do go away on hols at the end of August but need to try to get a grip of the budget before we go. Have been to MrA this morning and spent £102.22 - so more than I would like but have pretty good stocks so will see how we go.
Keep safe and well everyone, have a great weekend.

WEIGHTLOSS SINCE JUNE 2009 - 5 ST 2LB0 -
I think i've lost track of a few spends this month due to taking food to BBQ's etc. Anyway, i'll carry on as I am for now.
About 90p was spent yesterday on milk.
£4.73 in Aldi today. For that I got bananas, nectarines, grapes, strawberries, peppers and some fruit juice. The strawberries were marked as 50% off, so got them for 89p. The grapes were also marked as 50% off, but went through at full price, but I didn't notice til I got home. Nevermind! I feel some smoothie making happening later today.Grocery challenge - Nov: £52/£100

Could you make him a daily box? Something like a rectangular box with his daily allowance of rubbish in it - some sweeties, a cake, maybe crisps, a biscuit? My ds won't eat fruit at all (don't panic, he eats veg), but maybe if you put a banana or suchlike in there he'd eat that when he runs out of other stuff. When he's eaten what's in there it's done for the day and he gets nothing else. It would give you a better idea of what he's eating too, instead of random cupboard picking.
That's a good idea, thanks, think I will try that
Sainsbugs dlvy arrived for our barbecue so will add my spend on sig later...also going to get a KFC for a treat today for the kids, I wouldn't normally include that in GC as I have a separate budget for 'family spends' as it is for our dinner so will add that on too.Starting with Avon C6 target sales £150.000 -
Hi all - could i please join in with a target for August of £100.
I am starting a spending diary and I'm going to use up some of the stuff I have in the freezer this month.
I have lots of cleaning stuff and toiletries, and i will try to curb my shopping impulses by walking to the local shop when I need something rather than stopping off at the supermarket on my way home from work.£2 Savers Club 2013 - £28

Afternoon ladies (and gents of course)! I'm afraid to report that I'm way over budget this month I think. I've lost count in fact! Been on hols this week though and been having a bit of a stressful time at work so not been highest on priority list at the minute, I'm ashamed to say. However, next month will be a good month I can feel it in my overspending waters!
Hope everyone else has managed to be a bit stricter with themselves and has done a bit better than me! xxxEvery act of kindness, no matter how small, isn’t wasted ❤️

DH called into Mr T's on the way home from work to pick up a few bits I forgot yesterday, he managed to buy a couple of things that weren't on my list but I couldn't be annoyed as he bought me some much needed chocolate
so added on to my August amount.
Shouldn't need to spend too much in the next week as we're going away overnight tomorrow and then the kids are going to stay at their grandparents for a couple of nights in the week.
Hope everyone has a good weekend0 -
Well I had a good first 4 weeks
so I am going to take the plunge and go for a monthly total of £150 for August as have two new students to cater for this month.

£175.73/£280 october grocery challenge:eek: 3/15 NSD October0 -
I couldnt quite manage to wait to buy my food till Monday, as I was expecting my BF for the weekend as well. So my shopping in Mr T was yesterday in the end. But I am counting it as August spends now. Although my shopping came to £110 most of it was not food. £47 of it was ink cartridges for the printer for a start. So I will need to get the receipt and seperate the food etc.
Can you put me down for £130 for August, as I was so close this month, I want to really do better next month.!:TWhen I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0
