Good luck to all today as its a new month and another challenge for us all.I will be shopping from my freezer for as much as I can this month again as I am determined to try and get it emptied at some point so I can defrost it if nothing else.So doing my best to stay away from shops as much as possible I did well with the tinned stuff last month and had a few err... unusual meals at times but adapted what I had around mealtimes. The sardine mountain is reduced quite a bit now I have the tinned smoked mackeral to get through ,still fish is good for the brain (apparently) :):)
I have had so much in the last month its a wonder I didn't grow fins .I had been given a large amount of tinned mackeral and sardines so have been working my way through them.:)
So its onwards and upwards chums and staying focussed on making every pound a prisoner
    Good luck everyone

    £250 for me please.

So far I have spent £4.50 - £3.50 at the market on a ham hock, huge bag of pears and 4 big pointy red peppers - £1 on a bag of kettle chips for with our sloppy joes - this is the kids favourite meal ever and makes me the most fun mum according to DS as they are allowed crisps for tea!

Have done my first July shop at Mr T yesterday, spent £130.72  but got a few reduced items and a fair amount of meat, so hoping apart from getting milk, bread and veg again next week we should be ok for a couple of weeks, have done my meal plan for the next week and am determined to stick to it :)

Thanks to everyone who gets this thread organised :T
