Had a lovely weekend away at my DM's and did a small £10 shop in her local Mr M on mainly fruit and milk.
I feel like I am doing OK this month. Only 2 weekends to go as we are paid on the 22nd and DH is out for a meal with work (free) on Saturday and I will eat something out of the freezer. Weekends are always my downfall with too many visits to the SM.:o
My total is £180.01 out of £260. I stocked up on a lot of non food items at the beginning of my month as I had run out but will need shampoo, conditioner and deoderant for me and full fat milk for DS tomorrow but will avoid buying any food items until the weekend.Save £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%

Hello All,
Thank you so much sistercas, Chloris, guccigoo and helen jelly for your good wishes - good to see you're all still here. Sorry i've been MIA but everything got very strange in April and then May and I couldn't keep up with posting. But I did keep track and I've posted my figures on the respective threads.
I won't go into detail but suffice to say that the experts' worst fears were not confirmed and I will be with you for some time yet, thankfully.

So glad to see you back, the boards not been the same without you, sending you love and light.
Had pizza for dinner, chicken tomorrow, no GC spends to report, been awfy good.
Bought a brand new cardigan with tags on e bay for £3.85.
Got a £40 next spend code from Thompson and Morgan as compensation for two missing bolts for a hanging basket stand, (replaced them for £2). Ordered loads of stuff in their sale £100 worth, got free delivery and it only cost me £10, then my neighbours gave me £150 towards plants etc for the garden. Went 30 years without as much as a seed from them. And £40 cash back from Quidco, and a £30 tip from a happy customer, So I'm well pleased.
I gave £50 to my wee bowling club, and sold some pillowslips and Tea towels, and managed to raise around £90 for them (funds are a bit low).
The T Towels were one of my bargains I thought I was buying 50. They came in 50 packs of 5 :rotfl::rotfl:
My garden was in the Sunday mail magazine yesterday, the newspaper contacted me to enter the competition, the prize is £1,000 of stuff from Dobbies, if I win I will get some benches and things for the club
Think I might have hit a lucky streak lol , more coming in than going out, gonnie try the lottery (dont usually), I heard one of my friends say the euro one is £2 and you get the tickets on Tuesday.
If I win, I will throw you all a crust when I buy my rolls.:rotfl::rotfl:

Budget is gonna take a bashing I think this week, got loads going and sooooo tired after a hen weekend..have ordered some wine and bits with extra points at tesco...going to put the booze away thought for next month so will take it from that budget I think (also I don't include acohol in my gc) another plus is I made a lemon cheesecake at the weekend which has done 2 puds and will do another tomorrow (I always feel so great when I make something like that and the kids like it!!)
Was pleased today though as my girls had lo chilli and chips and ds and I had pasta with a sauce I put together myself (tomato) and I made enough for the girls to have tomorrow for tea and another meals worth in the freezer, so thats something...

Hello All
I had a flurry of spending activity over the weekend. S4vers, Al-di, c00p and sainsbugs. Total is up to about £70 so will have to watch that carefully. Got some whoopsies2 sausage Ragu and penne meals 40p each, two garlic breads 39p and smoked salmon 90p. Missed out to a professional on the packs of reduced meat but very pleased with my haul.
Sainsbugs had a half price sale on their own brand organic tomato ketchup which was down to 64p. Just make sure it goes through correctly as I had to get a refund at customer services as they tried to charge me full price. lucky I realised before I left the store.
Sausages, cabbage and new potatoes dug up today from the garden (smiles proudly) planned for tomorrow night.
