ooohhh shegirl, so gunna try your carrot cake recipe.
Just baked a egg free sponge ready to decorate tomrw. its just go go go at the moment, so glad I've got a week off work next week.....time to rest...doh scrap that, got the decorating to finish, lol.
Hubby is putting the coving up as I type, just got to persuade him to paint the ceiling and coving for me (his only contribution towards decorating ,as he hates painting)0 -

hi, does any one have a good birthday cake recipe? i think i'll have to make one 3 days in advance (for decorating time). I usually make the all in one victoria sandwich but is there a madeira which is as simple, and can be made with same method? (one that will be firm but not dry etc).
