Moosetastic I love you spring themed cupcakes and cases. Thanks for the link I've just ordered some (email the seller and tell her you should be on commission) bit pricey for everyday but I'm determined to celebrate Easter properly this year and decorated the house a little there are such cutie bits and bobs around.
Mokeyjen and "mum" you should be very proud. Your christening cake is adorable you'd never guess it was your first go. You'll be bitten by the cake decorating bug now tho:-)
I've made a delicious carrot cake before that was diabetic friendly but can't find the recipe at the minute. I experimented using Splen*a but found in cakes it's not that great IMO however I did find that you could get away with reducing by half the amount of sugar in carrot cake and use sple*da in the cream cheese topping. Shortbread using Splen*a is delicious and can be enjoyed by all without anybody being any the wiser. Think the sugar substitute works better cooked at a lower temperature. The secret of Christmas

Love your cake Bunnygirl it's fab can't tell it's your first it looks brill :-)
Is there really such a thing as a bargain kitchenaid? Im jealous I've recently got a kenwo*d which I think is brill but do like the look of the kitchenaid (they were so so much dearer than the mixer I ended up with and couldn't really justify the cost:(
Love your signature too. Made me smile:-)The secret of Christmas

I made a Lego cake for an eight year old between Christmas and new year (tricky timing) I bought a cheapo Lego set from sainsburys (£2/£2.50) and made it up using it as the cake topper, white fondant and a red ribbon looked fab ( obviously couldn't take any credit but worked really well due to the timing :-)
The birthday boy ate his cake and played with the toy later:-)

bought myself a new little toy. Kenwood KM260 presario.
Reduced from £199.99 to £99.99 but when it went through the till it came up as £79.99 so 60% off. Used £15 of nectar points so got it for £64.99... my little breville mixer (which I got at a bargain price for £10 from work as it was exdisplay) is struggling nowadays...so have been eyeing a bigger machine up for ages and was super hinting to the kids and hubby what I would like for Mothers Day.
cant wait to try it out0
