It's (pin unlocking) only normal for Lloyds
. I've never had to do it on any other account before. Just a shame they made my calls lengthy by not mentioning this. Hey ho.... £80 worth of redress methinks.
btw I have done 5 x egg payments at once without a problem. I think I read somewhere of someone that did 8 before it threw a wobbly.
Can't access my account but a ministatement showed £4.95 following 5 x £1.01 egg payments.0 -
Just came off the phone with a llyods customer services representative and she claims that you're NOT actually saving any money.
If you spend £2.01, it will be rounded up to £3 (99p of which goes into a savings account from your debit account).
You're actually not losing any more nor gaining anything.0 -
Yes but in february and march the bank is matching the amount saved.0

Just to clarify, can you do as many transactions as you like in one day? What's the easiest way to cancel this after we've fleeced Lloyds for a ton?0
-
The limit Llyods will match is a total of £50 per month during the promotion0

I've been doing up to 12 a day.....2 x 3 paying off B'card and the easiest of all....if you have an account or do the lottery online....just transfer £5.01 (the minimum) to your account..then remove it back to your bank account....I do this 2 x 3 times daily....51 transactions done...£50 in the bank at end of Feb... Lloyds TSBThis post was created in an area that may contain nuts!0 -
Yeah, I set up a William Hill account. Same thing but wasn't sure how many I could get away with per day.0
