I'm just going to sit by my card machine (restaurant) and do the whole lot in one go. 50x 1p on the card. I'm sure it'll ask me to ring the bank every five minutes as their fraud alerts they start flashing...but hey!

Shafting Lloyds for an after-tax £40/hour or so sounds good like a good way to spend a rainy evening.

The t&c's say they can stop the promotion at any time and I think that 'doing the whole lot in one in one go. 50 x 1p' is a an ideal way for them to close the promotion.

It seems to me that the whole thing has not been thought through very well but I also think that if everyone did the above, they may well stop the promotional cash matching, which is a pity for people who wanted to try and use the scheme more fairly.

Just tried two transactions at Tesco pay at pump - didnt like it. As I am doing it on three accounts i simply paid with the different card each time. Easiest methid so far has to be paying 1.01 into you egg account. The money can be recyled back after a few days.

Another good one in William Hill Bookies - you can top up your account by as little as two pounds. Open an account via Quidco and you will get £10 cashback on a £5 stake. I stuck a fiver on the Aussie to win the cricket tonight, and another £1 on England to win. The odds mean that you keep your stake if England win, and lose a few pence if the Aussies win - but you get your cashback. Then use the account to 'top up', withdrawals can be made with ease, you dont need to gamble it.

Good luck - this should cost Lloyds millions

Can't you read ppl in english? Read that part about overdraft that will give you a clue. Its not a free money. Its your money bank will transfer from direct debit account to your saving account. Same as if you put change in a jar.

It's actually like you putting some money in a jar and the bank manager doing the same (they match your savings up to £50 per month). So yes - free money (that which the bank adds).

so why do they say about overdraft? if they add their own money then there shouldnt be a problem with an overdraft

"if u dont have enough funnds in your account to cover the rounding up, we wont make any transfers" you need to have your own money to do rounding up, so where does it say that its bank who will add any money to my account?

They round it up during the month and match it with THEIR money at the end! Read the T & Cs - it's all there!

Just checked and a payment for £5.01 yesterday has been debited from my account...no top up in other account though!

Another way to do it is go to the National Lottery page, create new account....top up with £5.01 every day ...then 'remove' £xx's at a later date.
