Need a good case now for my PSP. Any recommendations?

I heard the Logitech is the best one to go for.

Gameplay have it for £5.99 - which seems a bargain!:

  • 3.03 OE-A firmware now available. I have not tried upgrading yet.
Easier to use the noobie installer I posted the link to earlier on. No messing about then. ;)

    Instructions:

    1. Double click extractor(or you can open it with winrar), extract to memorystick.

    2. Run the flasher("3.03 OE-A Firmware Install"). If your battery is less than 75%,
the program will show an error saying the battery is to low and it will return to the
    XMB.

    3. If you have enough battery, the program will continue and will show an
agreement. Press X to accept it and it will flash the custom firmware to your psp.
Do not turn psp off or take memorystick out while flashing is in progress.

    4. After finishing flashing, your psp will reboot to XMB and you should now be
    running 3.03OE.

What is the difference between ISO's (For the psp) and rar files?

Am i right in thinking that ISO's are for the DevHook method and rar files are for those with 1.5 firmware and 3.02 (the one with psx?)

    Thanks in advance.

RAR files are just ISOs compressed with WinRAR for 'internet distribution'.

DevHook is not needed with firmware 3.02 OE and 3.03 OE.

Rars are just compressed files. When you download a rar file, you will need to unrar it. Where PSPs are concerned, most ISO, CSOs and PSX games are rarred purely to allow quicker downloading. It is just a way of making something smaller to enable people to share it more quickly. Once it's been received at the other end, it must be put back to its normal size (unrarred).

Can you easily take the PSP in and out of that Logitech case?

Yes - I've got a logitech case. It works well as a stand, too.

    Hi
    Thanks for the replies.
I have slight knowledge of ISOs and Rars.
I was just wondering if they were different in anyway - one for Devhook and one for firmware - obviously they both use iso?
    Thanks
    Daniel
