  • Morning all! :hello:

Last day at work for me! :j :j :j Well officially I don't finish until tomorrow but I've been volunteered to take the Mac back to the Apple shop at Bluewater. (I'm not sure which the lesser of the two evils is. :rotfl: ) I hope to take hubby into work then make my way over the bridge early, find a parking space and have brekkie before the shops open. Then hopefully it'll only take me an hour and I can be on my way home. I thought I might go and see Grandad in the home but I need to speak to Grandma first as I'd feel awkward going on my own. Should be a nice day though and if hubby isn't too, ahem, inebriated (sp?) after his work lunch then he's going to take me to the pictures and out for dinner. :D

My boss gave us our pay slips yesterday and we got a very nice and unexpected bonus, and a voucher for a full body massage to be taken in work time! :j

I've nearly finished my other Grandad's present, just a little finishing touch to do. Then I thought I'd make the same thing for my neighbour so I need to get cracking tonight. (It's a garden tool belt and she's just got a new greenhouse).

Oooh, I'm really feeling festive and happy today.

Penelope Penguin Congratulations to hubby on his new job!!!!

    Good morning everyone,

Well, we are now the very proud owners of a downstairs toilet :T :j !!!!!! Little ones dad stayed until 10.30 last night, so it would be finished, and he is only charging me for the parts so i also bought him a big bottle of his favourite gin. It needs decorating and a bit of finishing off, but its really good and will help so much with the little ones.
My 2 are off to their dads today (their xmas with him) although DD refuses to sleep, so he will be bringing her back tonight (she wont go if he wont bring her back) and DS wil be back tomorrow. I hate seeing him, but it has to be done!!!
I have 2 older ones here today, and i think we might brave Mr Ts and get the last few bits for xmas, and see what toilet accessories they have (need a soap and loo roll holder) for my new toilet (do you think im really pleased with it!!!!)
Ive already got the DW and WM on, and will get DSs sheets done later as well, as it wont matter if they arnt dry until tomorrow as hes not here later :(
Right, need to dry my hair before the 2 girls get here.
Hope everyone has a lovely day,
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Pen pen - congratulations on Mr Ps new promotion!!!!

Welcome to all the newbies from yesterday as well, hope you will all enjoy yourselves here!!!!

    I've been Money Tipped!
    :santa2: Morning!

Brrrrr! Very cold and frosty here in Essex. Ds is on his way to get a flight to gf's in Newcastle today, luckily he is flying out from Stansted and not Heathrow!

I think we are now fully decorated so the dec for today day 21 will be some pretty green and silver tinsel in dd's bedroom.

Today is a bit of a sad day for me as it would have been my Mum's birthday, still miss her terribly:cry: could never forget it as it was on the shortest day of the year (remember the days are going to start to get longer again from tomorrow! )

Pen Pen - congratulations to OH! :T

    Off for another :coffee:

    Take care

  • Morning everyone,

Just a quickie from me today - got up 5 times in the night to go for a pee, then was awake from 3am until after 5am then up at 6.50am with the alarm - so feel a bit woozy and disorientated today. Worst thing was that MSE chat forums were down - I felt so lost!

Last day at work today though! Yay! Not much to do, just wee bits of finishing off so going to eek those jobs out so they last all day - in between popping in and out of here!

Feel a lot better this week - still very tired and unerergetic but not so sick. Just STARVING all the time!

    Love

  • Morning Everyone

Have a bit of a headache this morning after one too many glasses of red wine last night. Got woken early by the cat demanding her breakfast so no lie in for me either

W*** again today, this week is going so slow. I've booked a slot with Next later on today so maybe some retail therapy will rid me of my headache.

    B - Toast
    L - Cottage Cheese & Ryvita
    D - Scampi, Chips & Peas

Mr LMLOD is still off work - the house was a tip when I got home last night so was not best pleased. He might go in later for a few hours so hopefully the house won't be as messy when I get home later on.

Have a good day everyone xxxx
Its nice to be important but more important to be nice!
