!!!!!! our lovely new tent is now ruined
when H came home last week there was a terrible burning smell in the garage after he'd parked his scooter and shut the garage door. We thought it was some anti rust stuff he'd put on the exhuast.
Turns out he'd backed up against the tent bag, not noticed and the hot exhaust has basically melted a bl00dy great big hole in the fabric. It's unrepairable :mad: So that £95 just p!ssed down the toilet. Can you tell I am fuming
Lou - I am glad to see you posting, thinking of you and hubby xxxx

That story gets weirder and weirder as I was reading that the PC responsible was found with hand injuries, he jumped out of a police car or something. Very odd. Hope he loses his job quite frankly as if they have named the correct person this isn't the first timeI have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

DG fab news for your DS hun"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

We have spoken to the police but can't be a prosecution for animal against animal. However if 2 or more witnesses to the incident felt they couldn't intervene because they were fearful of injury to themselves it can be persued. The police are speaking to a number of people who saw it happen. So we will see how they get on. They are going to get back to us then.
Hope they can do something about it hun.I blame the owners every time:mad::mad:"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

Currently asking on a camping forum if holes in a sew-in ground sheet the size of a side plate can be repaired  The holes in the fly sheet at smaller and can be repaired but it's the all in one groundsheet that's the problem.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Apparantly he threw himself out of a moving police car, and then tried to slit his wrists, he left the dogs in the car and then travelled to London for work, he only 'remembered' the dogs hours later  the suffering they must have gone through is unimaginable :mad::mad:
BB sorry to hear about the tent0
