Just seen something recommending hairspray, so will tell SOTD;):D
Wonder where you saw that? :rotfl:
Gillian I am so sorry about your poor cat. I too would go to the police.
I have a staffy too, and she does hate cats, but she's not allowed out of our garden, and can't on her own. Funnily enough when I was walking her this morning, we were about four yards away from a cat sleeping in the sun, and she just looked at it and walked on without a backwards glance, so I am beginning to think its just black cats she hates. Or ones on our fence. It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your windowEvery worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0 -

Have managed to get the DW on and lunch made. DS3 won't eat anything and it hurts to touch him he is so hot but he wants to sit cuddled up to me. Thinking we might have to cancel his party on Saturday and re-arrange it.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -
Long meeting with church architect and builders this morning, got very dusty! Anyway, all seems to be going to plan thus far. No washing to do today, but the BM has just finished. Love the smell of freshly baked bread! A few rumbles and a few huge spots of rain - but nothing much to date. Sky really funny colour though, so I think it'll happen soon!
Am going up to London to look after DGD on Thursday as her school will be closed. Fun for me at least! Need to get back into the hellhole that is our spare bedroom - although it's actually beginning to look cleared now. Yesterday it was just too hot to bother. Am hoping to get to gym later.
So sorry to hear about your cat, Gillian - what a horrible thing to happen.
((HUGS)) to all who need one today. Take care.Resolution:

just popping in to say thanks for all of your kind thoughts. and big thanks to jackieg for being the bearer of the bad news and a great friend as always
still struggling with pain a bit. drs were talking about the possiblity of it being an eptopic. they havent ruled it out yet and will find out this evening what is going to happen next. they also discovered a small cyst on my ovary but dont think its big enough to cause any probs. the NHS is absolutely crap though. the nurses have been great but the drs dont seem to be bothered at all
thanks again everyone"I have learnt that even when I have pains, I don't have to be one""You may not control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them.”Maya Angelou0 -
OMG that's awful,I have two staffies but they like cats strangely enough.Have you reported it to the police?:(:(
We have spoken to the police but can't be a prosecution for animal against animal. However if 2 or more witnesses to the incident felt they couldn't intervene because they were fearful of injury to themselves it can be persued. The police are speaking to a number of people who saw it happen. So we will see how they get on. They are going to get back to us then.0
