Happy to discuss if you PM me

    Thanks

  • I am just in the same position as some of the posters above.

We are poised to move, with a very short chain, and the only thing that has come up is the solar panels. Fitted in 2013 with ASG. Of course, it's been flagged by my buyer's solicitors that the lease isn't CML compliant, and they explained why and what is missing.

Trying to get hold of ASG is frustrating- they don't have a hold system (leave message and then disconnected), email autoreplies with "we'll get to you in 7 working days", and FB help just give you email addresses.

Really need to sort this ASAP, if anyone can give any pointers with their experiences, this would be much appreciated.

    Hey

Your best calling on 01226 369990 you will more than likely get straight through to someone then.

You need to speak with the legal department was a lady called Sharron in July but could of changed.

My best advice then - keep on at them otherwise you wont get anywhere.
  • Thanks z.j.c, I have PM'd you also.

I'll post on here what progress I make, but initially I am waiting out the 7 day response time they have quoted before I go all in.
  • Well, I have been pleasantly surprised.

After waiting out the 7 day period, I gave them a call. Phone answered immediately, very helpful lady took my details, and said a draft Deed of Variation would be sent to my solicitor before close of play. Sure enough, 3 hours later, there it was.

A few days later I called back to get a copy of the roof survey ,which is a requirement apparently, and they emailed it to me within minutes.

So, whatever problems they have had in the past, it appears to be sorted now.

    Help!

I have solar panels installed in 2013, I thought I kept all the paper work associated with the installation, but I am not trying to sell my house and the buyers solicitors have asked for "standard vendors information pack" which I cannot find, or ever have the recollection of receiving.

I have tried to speak to ASG but they are closed, does anyone have a copy of this pack and can tell me what it contains?

Recently had to organise the sale of not one but two houses for elderly relatives both of which had solar panels attached. We had no trouble obtaining the necessary documentation from A Shade Greener.

Try calling them on this number during working hours:

  • I have had A Shade Greener panels for about five years and have to say I'm not particularly impressed. Initially the company seemed on the ball, and it appeared as though I was saving money. However, now my electricity consumption is way above the average and neither ASG or my current supplier can help explain. According to ASG I get all the electricity generated- but there is no way of actually showing this. You get a dashboard which shows amount generated, but not how much the house takes compared to the FIT for ASG. Readings of my usage from the Grid compared to what the panels have generated show no correlation. Any emails with ASG don't get me anywhere, they just advise doing a meter check, or paying £95 to have one of their engineers come out to check they are working. Does anyone else have experience of this? Thanks
  • I signed up to all the false Promises of their Sister company nationwide solar which quickly went bankrupt taking my 25 year guarantee with it.

My maintenance agreement was transferred to ashadegreener. Each year what was covered was reduced until it wasn't worth the paper it was written on. This August they have failed to submit my meter readings and Eon are now saying I can't get paid until October.

At least I will get paid, although my meter is in the loft so really awkward to get to.

My Dad has a 50/50 ownership agreement with him. They haven't submitted his readings either so he hasn't been paid.

They aren't answering the phones and had withdrawn from social media. I'm not sure if they are even still trading.

Don't touch with a barge pole.
