river island sale - extra 50% off

Hi thanks to OP just been to nearest River Island got there at 7.45 not busy at all had a good look around, really pleased. Some people managed to still get bands (55 avail) when comming in at 8.40.

Loads of shoes handbags etc as well as clothing available, also alot of menswear.

Typical a dress I seen in store yesterday, that they did not have in my size, is reduced and cant get my size now cos its in the sale ! Bah !!

one of the first in the Bournemouth River Island so i got a band...which was unexpected as i didnt know about the deal!!wooop wooop!! brought 13 items coming to £110 including the beautiful peacock maxi dress that was £12.50 hell yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! everyone had to hand the wrist band back n they were giving them to the people that entered..dont know if they will be doing it all day though

Really pleased with my buys

Go to my store about 7:30 - was only about 4 others there to my surprise and even at 8am there was only about 20 people and store had a 55 limit on wristbands

Bought some shoes, bags, jeans and a couple of tops for the bargain price of £61

Well worth it

Going on line now seems to expensive.

It made me laugh as the staff kept asking everyone at the till if they had a wristband - some people who had not got one obviously had no clue what they were on about and looked really puzzled.

Just Next Sale now and that me done until winter sales!:rotfl:

Got down to Southampton store just before 8am and there was only about 15 people there. The store was lovely and quiet - no queues for till or changing rooms.

Really pleased I got up early to go - got some fantastic stuff including Birkenstocks (Betula) for £6(!!), jeans for £10, trousers for £5, gorgeous skirt for £5, a couple of tops including one for £1, and various jewellery for 50p and £1! :j

Does anyone know if River Island have a no-returns policy on reduced price (i.e. sale) items?

No today I asked the sales assistant, returns policy is exactly the same as normal, but you will only be refunded the amount you paid.

So, if you wanted to exchange it, best to "forget" the reciept!
