Just couldn't seem to function or move properly so I set my laptop up with Big Day Out for DC2, DC1 and 3 were asleep so I went and put my head down for 30 mins. Just dropping off and some one knocked on the door and then didn't wait for me to answer. Just dropping off and DC2 starting shouting for me just because he hadn't seen me for a while and wondered where I was. Just dropping off again and DC3 woke up and started yelling. So I gave it up as a bad job.
We are now sitting eating an indoor picnic type meal with lots of picky bits because lazy Mummy just couldn't be assed to cook.

Must be the weather because I have disturbed sleep courtesy of my kids quite often so it can't all be my 5am start but I feel awful this afternoon.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Feeling a bit brighter now - it just gets to me somedays. Kids Dad lost out on a job opportunity because of his caring responsibilities for me. He works so hard too. Many thanks for the support x
Ok I will endeavour to catch a pee sample as vet insists on it. Pops is on antibiotics in case its a bladder infection and will also be having her lump removed:(:(:( She also needs to get on a diet as the vet said she was bit "porky":eek::eek: Cheek of him!
Hoping the weather is about to break as it's so very thundery and heavy. It would be a relief. Its not only humans and animals that dont like it, the chillers at both my local Tesc0 and the Mot0 garage where DS1 now has a job went down today and so they had to close both the shops:eek::eek::eek:
Too hot for food at the moment but Kids are having the famous Costc0 lamb burgers. Im going to nibble on some raisins I think. Hugs xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.

Hugs to SM & others in need.
Off to work soon, hubby's been dropped at the station with his packup, turkey salad sarnies, my packup is hardboiled eggs, new pots & red onion in mayo with salad.
DW's been emptied & refilled, WM emptied & 1st load on the line.
Tea tonight will be pasta with ham & mushroom sauce.
Work should be fun, it get's up to 104deg in my room, I have air con but it doesn't work so it's going to be warm. There is no maximum heat limits for working, so I just have to grin & bear it.
Have a good day everyone
Hester, have a read here and see if you can use any of it to your advantage to get it fixed.

Hi all,
Nice to see you all again, although had a good time in Sardinia....car took 3 days to sort so we were either home bound or using taxis, which was expensive. Weather was wonderful most days it was 35...OH seems to have developed an 'allergy' to hot weather for want of a better word, so wouldn't go for walks as we usually do. Very proud of myself when we arrived back in Dublin as got an airport bus at 12.30 am and walked the mile from the main road....€20 as opposed to a possible €80-100 for a taxi....how MS is that!
Lots of ripe raspberries, currants and loganberries, nice fruit to eat for rest of the day....was delighted to find that I lost 4 lbs while away, don't know how, did eat lots of fish and drink lots of water, but there was wine and pastry consumed as well.
Hugs to all in need or want, will probably not get back to the week I was away as there is lots of decluttering, cleaning and gardening to be caught up on.
Stay well all

If DH was due home at a sensible hour I would have done just that, I admit.
It's probably a combination of lack of sleep, early starts and weather. With me it is DH snoring at the moment, he is so loud sometimes it wakes me up and he snores whether on his back or side. Then once awake I can't get to sleep again because of his noise. I push him and he moves and stops for a minute and then starts again 5 min. later. So I have to try and get off again before he starts again.
I have to admit that diet coke is my friend right now.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -

Evenin' all,
So lovely the wind is picking up a little and there is a slightly lighter atmosphere. It looked like we might have storms earlier but the cloud has lifted.
So hot in a stuffy classroom with 33 year 6s and some of them were struggling in the heat too.
Got back to meal planning on Saturday. Had lovely hm chicken tikka salad yesterday which the boys love and was a favourite with all 8 of us:)
Lasagne and salad today which was delish. DH made the bolognese sauce on Thursday and we froze half for the meal today:)
