I'm sure you wouldn't be confused as to whether that was a 'proposal'.. men are silly.

Finally catching up on the thread!

Really sorry to hear about your uncle :( That seems so sudden, I hope you're ok. Congratulations to your DD, I hope her new job is going well.

Thanks. We were told he had a couple of months, and a week later he was gone! At least he is not suffering now. I am still waiting to hear about a date for the funeral though (why do these things take so long!!? if we were Jewish or Muslim, it would be done in 24 hours!!)
DD1 is LOVING the new job :j And long may it last :D She has worked 3 days this week, (she is away at the moment with her 'not' BF) and is working 5 days next week :) It is the perfect summer job for a student.

I have had a hectic afternoon. Lots of kids - headache is subsiding now :o
Today i have walked the dog (went to the nature reserve with Little Miss Sunshine), washed up, S&S the kitchen & done 1 load of washing which is on the line. After the kids went home i picked up a mountain of toys, and brushed the dog (after bribing him with a new bone :D). I am just relaxing for a bit, enjoying the peace.

I think i may have to crack on. Anyone up for a HHC at 6.30?

    Evening

Shopping done and all put away
    Bed stripped and remade
    WM is on
    Next load out on line
Early load off line as dry, folded and in airing cupboard
    Whole house hoovered
    Hoover cylinder emptied
    Cat fed
    Cheese salad eaten

About to clean the outside of the front window as a pigeon has flown in to it yet again and left feathery type marks all over the place, my fault for having clean windows, as I must be cleaning them too often!

Also had some ice cream tonight, naughty I know, but the 1st time since ageeeeeeeeeeeeeees ago.

I am sure I have done loads more, just cannot remember what!

No WMs as i managed to finish them last night until school finished. :rotfl:

I do need to do a DW but waiting til after dinner so it can all go in and save me washing later. I have been busy goinf through DHs old tax papers and getting rid of stuff that i no longer have to (legally) keep.

Also been digging out the nappies to wash in prep and I have a second batch arriving on monday. :D I am sending a few of my current ones to people who want to try that brand so will not end up with any more than i need - just hope that the new ones dry quicker as that was my only complaint about the old ones. still, be nice to have a selection

I better get back to cleaning the bedroom as although its finally dust free, there are loads of clothes that need sorting into piles of drycleaning/washing/charity shop etc. have also discovered that bouncing on my birthing balls helps me to reach things on the floor without making my spd any worse. there is a knack to it but anything is a help at the moment. lol

In my HHC I did the following:
cleaned downstairs loo & basin (also potty, toilet seat & step)
dusted LR (even polished some bits!)
swept kitchen & utility room (added 'sort out broom cupboard' to my Toots list after it all fell & hurt my toe  I did swear :o)
    vacuumed LR, DR & hall
had quick row with DD2 re leaving shoes laying about
wrestled said shoe from dog

well, not bad in half hour - more than I did all day yesterday!!

I now feel i can relax for the evening. DS has just got in (went out with mates after school) and I am waiting for DH to get in.

i may just sort through some paperwork and junk now (I have turned the tennis off as I think I was jinxing him)
