Boys room finished and all their stuff moved in. :j:j:j

DS2 away to the birthday party and other's are outside on their bikes. Plan now is to ring sparky, finish DD's touch ups in bedroom, fill washing machine and lift DS2. :D
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Thanks for the replies re DW cleaning.

I usually get the Morissons ones, but they only had the Finish today and I thought that was a bit steep. (I used my last one at the beg on June so due another wash). I was wondering about white vinegar and bicarb as a cheap alternative.

I use a good big handful of washing soda, then I put Bicarb in the powder drawer and vinegar in the rinse aid bit, the filter on mine wouldnt let anything food down it and I usually rinse the plates before they go in, plus we have very little greasy stuff as I banned the use of frying pans etc when I got my new cooker :rotfl:

3 loads of washing dried today, now I just need DH to put the curtains back up and we will be done

    Afternoon/Evening.

Had a quick glance at thread but struggling to stay awake!

Gave the bathroom a quick S&S this morning and have been out on a school trip all day. Now thoroughly exhausted. Just enough energy left to do some tea/dinner and then I'm going to collapse.

OH has done a few bits in the garden. Not sure what as I can't see much difference. :P

Glad peeps have made up with partners. Have no advice on DW cleaner as I don't have one and as for eternity rings have had mine since I got engaged! OH bought the wrong type of ring, so I got an engagement ring from him on our first anniversary :D
  • My HHC:

Shower had (used my new body scrub - lush!)
    Dishwasher door scrubbed
Dishwasher set to clean (thanks for the reminder :D)
  • Had a VERY long day at Ikea today, have blisters on my feet and never want to see another piece of swedish furniture. Got quite excited about the bargains in the sale though. Had to stop myself from buying a table I had no need/space for just because it was reduced to £1.27.

Have got some flying to do for a couple of hours now to make the house presentable for company tonight. Need to do something for dinner first though AARGH! I'm convinced it's only the free Ikea coffee refills that are getting me through :D

I've not got any rings from OH... you are supposed to get an eternity ring on the birth of your first offspring.. traditionally .. as you then have an eternal bond.

I need a new seal on my little freezer :(
