Samsung Galaxy Apollo (Android) £5pm for 12 mth then £10 pm for 12mth+£80 quidco

i chose the vivaz over the apollo,there are apps on the symbian op; i am not really fussed about apps, they might be novel for a week or 2 but i really wanted the camera as i like to take pics and videos when i am out and this phone has a really good camera (8.1 compared to 3.2 on the apollo). also comes with an 8gb card. it has a rss reader??? and voicememo??? (have no idea)

although i cannot be relied on to give any advice as i am not techie at all!!!! however i looked at them both and decided that for me, the vivaz was a much better phone. but i dont really care much for angry birds or having a spirit level! i do have facebook on my menu tho which is great

ordered the phone via website n it says 10.21
got a screenshot of the advert which say 5.21 pm just in case if a dispute arises.
not certain about quidco as to how it works it the activity summary says zilch for now hope it tracks in a couple of hours
also opted for unlimited landline talk booster as it was free n optional
hope i have worked out everything ok if not then please give your valuable comments on this deal.
is it still worth having it or shall i cancel it.
any advice from the senior members of the forum would help a lot

Looks ok Jay. Quidco tracked for me within 3 hours (if not quicker). Its a fantastic deal in my opinion as just using 100 minutes on BT would cost more than £4

Does anyone know if you have to have the unlimited text booster with the Samsung to qualify for the cashback? Or could you choose one of the other options?

Hi, just to say i ordered the Apollo last night, quidco tracked within the hour, but got a phone call this morning to say out of stock, new stock coming in 10-14 days - but i could have an LG phone. did not have time to sort it out this morning, so phoned back tonight and told no more Apollo coming in at all - but could have the LG OPtimus 1 navigator, i checked it out and it looks like a good deal, so went for that, as i really wanted an android operating system not windows 7 phone. But - i had noticed someone over on HUKD mentioned an omnia i think it was - the operator i spoke to said that one is not in this deal, its 15 per month, but then she said she could probably do something with the price, match the original deal but without the 80.00 cashback maybe. Price was crucial for me so i decided to go for the LG optimus, but if anyone originally ordered the apollo and wants a totally different phone now, it could be worth haggling.

Could you tell me the name of this app please? Am loving my Apollo and am loving accessing the Apps store...all new to me! Have got home wifi set up, but want to get the data counter sorted before my phone leaves the house

So why are they still advertising the Apollo on their site for !!!!s sake? This is really annoying me now, I want the Apollo but am yet to receive the 'we'll sell you an LG instead' phone call, they're wasting everyone's time here.

If you ordered the phone late evening , like I did, i would guess you will get a call this morning if it genuinely is out of stock and no more coming - people seem to be getting told different things but my guess is the apollo is finished - not sure why still on website, but, whatever. the LG looks like a very similar spec phone if not better - suggest you check it out online and you will be genned up if and when they ring you. good luck!
