Nah, mine hasn't arrived yet but I'll definitely be upgrading if/when it does.
2.2 is the newest available operating system for the phone, offering better battery life, install to SD card and other enhancements. It's available in other countries but not yet in the UK, however you can download the firmware and flash it to your phone. As far as I'm aware doing it yourself will void any warranty, but it's supposed to offer a vast improvement over the default 2.1.
[edit]Brilliant thread on it here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=7788800 -
STands for FROzen YOghurt apparently! 2.2 is definately better, my last phone came with 2.1 (Eclair?) and when upgraded there were a few very useful addons. Storing apps to the SD card was one of the best, along with tethering so that you can use your laptop through it.0

LOL i had to look it up in google
Its another term for android 2.2 so the next level of android really.
Each version of Android is named after food - 2.1 was eclair, 2.3 is gingerbread, 3 is Honeycomb and 4 Ice Cream sandwich (!) There was also cupcake and Donut earlier on
Froyo is short for frozen yoghurt
That's the end of the useless information!!0 -
