    Sorry another question...

To anyone who has used musicmagpie before - How picky are they when it comes to the condition of the case? I have a couple with a crack in it/where the CD slots in some of the little bits in the centre are missing, will they still pay for them or am I better off switching the artwork into a case exactly the same, but better condition? (we have tonnes of spare CD cases for some reason!)

*Bought a giant watermelon for £1.50. A small tub of watermelon is £1.40 at work. I reckon that's a bargain.

*Took pitta bread filled with fridge leftovers for lunch.

*Calculated work bonus. Should be about £160 or £220 if I get really lucky.

    * Booked some time off work: hurrah!

*Had a look here http://www.bbc.co.uk/showsandtours/ for free BBC events tickets

*Print off price promise voucher from Tesco.

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Hello all!

Another very late post for me as I've been away in Canada visiting some friends and family and then had a wedding to attend in the UK as soon as I got back.

I'm very pleased to be able to say that my Canada trip came in on budget - despite all the great shopping opportunities and generous luggage allowance I didn't go mental and only bought a few things I needed (including a dress for a friend's wedding that was on sale for $39/£25 approx, compared to the £120 one I had picked out at Monsoon, and it was much admired at the wedding yesterday...woop!). In the past i've arrived back from similar trips with credit cards maxed but they still all have a £0 balance which I'm very proud of :)

I've had a very good mse weekend because i let my bf drive up from London which meant he filled my car with petrol (and there's enough left in the tank after the weekend larking about to get me through until payday on thursday). I also kindly allowed him to pay for the hotel and bar tab at the wedding as well as lunch today, so all I've spent was £1.50 for parking and £1.70 for a couple of drinks at a service station :)

I'm not usually one to let him pay for a lot but figure this time was ok because I'm saving up to do something special for his 30th birthday next month!

Home now and it'll be supper from stores and a chilled evening catching up on what i've missed while I was away.

    Hope you're all well x
