..and what's more it's 100% British no foreign much in Morrisons:beer:

100 per cent British what mate! I shop there and the fruit is usually from some banana republic, just like the other supermarkets. The only decent thig are the baby wipes value range 35p!

How anyone can say Tesco is superior in every way to Morrisons!

Because they shop in Tesco. Not many people will shop in one supermarket and say another one is better. Everyone likes to think the one they shop in is the best/cheapest. If they don't think that, then they are mugs for shopping their.

The simple fact is no one supermarket chain is best/cheapest for everything. They all have things that are cheaper than other chains, and things that are more expensive.

Comparing one chain with another chain based on a visit to one branch is pointless. All supermarket chains have "good" and "bad" branches, visiting one branch that you think is "bad" doesn't mean all branches in that chain are "bad" to, and the same goes for "good" branches.

I can never figure out why Morrisons are the only major supermarket NOT on My-Supermarket?

I think Morrisons are the best of the big 4 for meat & bread.

It's because they don't have their prices online, or online shopping. They can't supply a price list to their own web site, so they can't supply one to mysupermarket.

Even if they could, they would only be on mysupermarket if mysupermarket got paid commission from Morrisons.

Morrisons are ok, are on my doorstep and took over the Somerfield store so therefore prices are much better!! They don't have all the offers as they aren't a Morrisons superstore but have a bakery/deli/butcher/ salad bar/fish monger etc.

I luv the fact that most weeks you can get bagged fruit for £1 (pears/apples and sometimes other fruit) My nearest Tesco barely has any fruit below £1.60! (and if cheap - you only get 4 fruits or titchy ones!)

With meat, I find the quality varies. Sometimes better in S. or T.

I doubt it. They are a Northern company and I don't think they have telephones up there let alone the internet!!

I do hope you are joking!

For what it's worth, I've lived in several parts of the country & the North is much more advanced than the South of England with regard to facilities, shopping, transport & so on.
'The South' has in fact, a lot of catching up to do.

No I am deadly serious. They haven't even embraced RP and still speak with accents! No wonder foreign Johnny is scared of our country!!

I never forgive them for getting rid of the fresh pizza counter that Safeway had, where they would cook the pizza in a traditional pizza oven if you wanted. Morrisons came along and replaced it with a Pie Counter. They didn't seem to grasp the fact they could tailor their stores to suit different areas of the country, they just took what they did up north and forced it on people down south.

All this love for Morrisons. They do good deals on some products but Asda meat is far better and there's more variety. I guess it depends on your store, the Morrrisons i go to is large but not as large as the Asda. Still, Morrison's is nowhere near as cheap or has the variety of asda.

As the guy from the Royale family would say, my !!!!.

For what I buy week in week out, from fresh flowers to fruit and veg, butcher meat, frozen foods and GENUINE bargains you can see without having to trawl the shelves (aisle ends?), Morrisons is cheaper.
