Hi, only me again!
No, they haven't turned up yet! I have got an attic conversion so theres no dark attic here to look for them in!
I have a vauge feeling that I gave them to my boyfriend to stash at his house, because they were the first things I bought I may have asked him as I knew I would soon run out of space at my house. Weird thing is I kind of remember thinking at the time that I better remember that they were there!
But it could be wishful thinking, a dream or me going completly mad!
Boyfriend has two curious children so they would have been put out of sight and reach, doubtful that they went in the attic or the garage though and we have checked every cupboard, drawer etc
I have asked him to humour me and look everywhere again, including the attic and garage just to set my mind at rest.
I will keep you posted!
Thanks for all the great replies and funny stories about losing presents

This is going to sound really odd but my husband loves whisky and I was planning to buy him a bottle for Xmas. We were in Sainsburys a few weeks ago admiring a bottle of Cigar Whisky and I remember thinking how I needed to find some time to get back to the store without him to buy it but of course as with all things it never happened.
Last week I was emptying out the chest of drawers in our bedroom looking for spare pillowcases and came across a bottle of the same whisky wrapped in a sheet and I have NO MEMORY OF BUYING THIS! I know it doesn't belong to my husband but I am absolutely stumped as to when I acquired this....!!

I have a vague feeling I remember it falling down the back of something and me being in a hurry thought "at least they're hidden from him, I'll move them later. What it fell behind still eludes me though
Organised people are just too lazy to look for things
