Gosh I thought this was just something I did!
I do this most years- last year I lost £60 worth of gift vouchers then found them aroung february time!
This year I bought a bumper box of tags and cannot find them anywhere!:smileyheaRachel xx0 -
I bought my bro and SIL a lovely personalised 2007 calendar and it took me 3 weeks to find it...actually my OH found it in the end. It would have been disastrous if he hadnt as it'd obviously be useless for giving the following yr :rolleyes:0

I've lost a box of Lindors that I got for my DS, my DD has bought a box for him now to replace them so I look forward to finding the originals when he's gone back to college!!0

Not my fault - I ordered 5 tshirts and 3 came over a week ago.
They were all posted the same day from the same place and I have to wait 14 days before I report them missing.
My fault - I bought a lovely set of fridge magnets for my work colleague where you can dress the statue of David in an assortment of clothes - I'm hoping I find it for her birthday!0 -
Done this loads of times, hence I have a tidy out before Xmas every year now, this week I found 6 gifts I forgot I had even bought! Last few years my children have had presents in the middle of the year, or at birthdays, as I have found hidden presents. What is also a good idea is writing a list of what you have bought and where it is hidden. One day I might be more organised...........

My parents used to hide easter eggs (sorry to mention this so early!) in the garden for us to hunt for when we were little and we once found one still sitting in the garden in June!!!
Last year I helped my SIL wrap her presents (she hates wrapping and I love it) and she had 2 packets of silver tags that matched the paper. When we were half way through we realised that a packet of tags was missing. We couldn't find it anywhere and could only conclude that one of us had wrapped them with one of the presents! We didn't want to open any of them in case we still didn't find them. They never did turn up and no one mentioned finding a packet of tags in with their present!0 -
Worst thing I lost was the tie off a dressing gown I bought for DPs Nana, she loved the gown but no tie thing and it was from Littlewoods who had decided to close down so I couldn't get another, TBH I think I left it in the shop. Felt guilty that she had to get a friend to cut some off to make one
