Smiley Hippo photobook cheap but not cheerful

I have ordered a photo album from Smiley Hippo. The software was quite user friendly and easy to download. However, I placed my order on the 7th of December with standard delivery which is 7/9 days. On the 19th I wrote to them to check the status of my order as after 12 days I have not received the parcel.
It was impossible to get in touch over the phone, the line was constantly engaged. I managed to get a reply through Live Chat. To my surprise, I have been told that they posted the parcel today (12 days after placing the order!!!). Not only I have not received the parcel within the 7/9 days but it is unlikely that it will be delivered before Xmas. I will let you know about the quality of the product once I receive it.
My advice? Do not rely on them, they do not come across as a respectable company. Customer satisfaction and prompt deliveries are obviously not their prime concern.

I used ReSnap and had no problems with them. Quality is good and creating a book took me one minute. There are also others that are reliable, as posted before.

Just wanted to post that I've been in contact with Smiley Hippo's with the issue that I could not upload the photos to go with my order; customer service were brilliant in that they replied straight away and we solved the problem by means of an alternative upload (in my case Hotmail OneDrive) on the same day. So very positive. I was put off with the negative experiences some people have experienced so am very relieved to have had a positive experience.

I used Smiley Hippo but wasn't entirely satisfied. After I contacted them, they sent somebody round to walk the dog, milk the cows, put the kids to bed (inc. reading them a story), take the mother-in-law out for tea and cut the grass.

I must admit that after reading these reviews I was cautious of ordering the book from here. However, as I had a great wowcher deal for it I decided to give it a shot. I was very pleasantly surprised, the software which you have to download is very easy to use, and after recently receiving the book I was very impressed with the quality. The one thing of which I was not impressed about was the time it took them to produce the book, it took about nine days and generally I find other sites to be much quicker, but of a lesser quality, and I would rather wait longer to have a nice a book. I did contact smiley hippo enquiring about the amount of time the book took to produce and I found that their online chat extremely responsive and helpful. Basically, I will definately be using smiley hippo next time and I genuinely would highly recommend them.
