I ordered a photobook and my order was acknowledged and credit card debited. Two weeks later I get an e mail telling me I had not uploaded any files so they could not process my order.

This makes no sense. To order, you first have to download their software and compile a book then send it. You cannot make an order without submitting a photobook file. Seems like these clowns have lost / mislaid / corrupted my photo files.

What a crock of horse manure. I shall have to do a charge back on my CC.

I would advise you not to make the same mistake and use one of the other more reliable photobook suppliers, e.g.> http://www.kodakgallery.co.uk/PhotoBookOverview.jsp?utm_src=10006_|photo_books_h|photobook|photobook

Something wonderfully satisfying when a company bumps a poor review to leave their own incredibly obvious good review. Certainly makes you question their scruples.

I was going to report those posts, but I thought MSE members are not so easily fooled.

You have to file a chargeback why?

I was just pleased with the service I have received when ordering photobooks and wanted to let other people know. I thought thats what this site was for. Missile seems to think only his experience matters! I didn't accuse him of working for Kodak when he blatantly touted their web address in his original post!!

He has over 5000 posts. You only just joined and immediately start promoting companies. How do you think that looks?

Wish there was more info on this company online. I'm having a nightmare getting my photobook through. Customer service virtually non-existent. My photobook is now 2 weeks late and counting
  • My book was never delivered so I contacted them and they sent a replacement via courier... Can't really complain!
  • No probs for us using Hippo. All three books are great and arrived with a week.
  • Initially I wasn't expecting much, I found the smiley hippo book builder to be long winded and not at all user friendly. However my book has arrived and I am honestly stunned by how good it is. Great quality paper, lovely reproduction of my holiday photos and much, much better than the Snapfish one I ordered at the same time. It is a shame that without a special offer their prices are a bit steep compared to other companies but I would certainly jump on it if there were another Groupon or Tickles voucher
